Hello all, so when i’m farming ore and herbs on my druid, i see way too many people taking the nodes and leaving me to fight the mobs for them and sometimes as my druid isn’t that geared either dies and don’t get the stuff while the parasites get them or when i try to loot them they vanish. Can we please add it so you cannot loot with hostile enemies nearby?

The problem with this suggestion is when you try to loot it, someone else could just pull a nearby mob which would fit the requirement to block you from harvesting the node. And then you could do the same to them…
Don’t think of this as that the behaviour’s ok because they should just move on the next node imo but yea, greedy people…

I think blizzard can come up with something. I’m just so tired of people constantly acting like frecking parasites and taking the ore and herbs that i fight mobs for. Like it needs to be bannable at some point as a lot of botters are doing it aswell.

Im sorry but as a ret paladin player myself atm if yoy not absolutely annihilating mobs in like 3 seconds youre doing something wrong.
Well you didn’t exactly tell whether if this happens on Retail or Classic, but I assumed it was Classic.
On Retail this is semi-solved with that nodes remain multi-tappable and remain for a little bit too.
It really isn’t as resources are available to everyone on a first come basis. It’s poor social etiquette since ancient times mhm.
Yea that is a seperate problem and they tackle it every so often.

Read what i wrote instead. Why should i need to gear up just because people can’t even help me kill mobs if we all want the ore and herbs? Else just give us a way to report those greedy parasites
You are one entitled little ret aren’t you? Well for one, you should gear your druid cause it dies fast. Means it’s not gonna be much use in a fight and since nodes have enemies around them or even spawn enemies it’s common sense for it to be able to deal with these.
Second, nobody is gonna waste their time on you because they are not obligated to come to your rescue just cause you don’t want to gear your druid.
Third, the devs have changed the system so you can mine a node even if someone else mines it, therefore making ninja-ing impossible.
I think you just like to cry about stuff.

Nah i’m a big retribution Paladin, well for one you should read the topic it’s not about gearing it’s about making a messege about helping your fellow wow players instead of stealing from them, second your attitude is most likelly why you’re not very popular, and thirth no they’ve not fully so you go and leave or i’ll report you for trolling as you don’t listen to what this topic is about.
Nobody is stealing from you, genius, the node remains there for you to loot once you are done killing crap. You are lazy and entitled. Shut up, go gear your druid, kill the stuff you need to then get your node.

Most people that are “stealing” those nodes are probably bots anyway.
Blizz made modern WoW so that being selfish pays off more. Just like the in the real world. 
But I’m surprised that someone can die in the open world. Is your druid 80 with level 60 gear? If that is really a struggle for you just don’t try to pick up herbs/ores where mobs are.
Finally one worth talking to unlike the inhuman. But i just battle the mobs but some of them are elites. But i try but it’s just annorying how some just spit on their fellow wow players and refuse to help even after looting
Whatever, look, if you are so lazy that you refuse to do a basic thing, a simple thing like gearing up then maybe your complaints are not valid. Grow the hell up.

It’s annoying when that happens, I always help out when I see it happening. And then we can just both mine or herb all peacefully and companionably 
It’s been an issue since the start tho, and Blizzard has tried to sort of fix it with the shared nodes. Personally I usually end up gathering on a character that can easily kill stuff, saves me some frustration.
