I have farmed roughly 70 waylaid supplies the last couple days, because blizz said they were gonna get an increase in exp. Many others did the same and common places to loot the boxes were highly contested.
Now they say they wont give any exp at all. I don’t know how many hours or how much gold i’ve spent on these, to just have it change to nothing a few days before p2 launch.
What the f is up with that decision? I wasted so much time and got juked
I am not supriced they did this due to the other “anti farm” stuff they changed like the mark of wsg so you cant cheese it.
Ye I understand they don’t want people to refund item to exploit themselves to 40, but other than that, what the hell. They gonna make quests give nothing too?

I believe they confirmed that any completed quests you have on your lvl25 char before submitting them will only give gold, not xp. So no self-boosting.

I mean if you farmed and spent gold on stocking boxes with the hope that you could just power level yourself to lvl 40 then it’s on you. With all the other changes & item removal throughout P1 to other items that grant xp it was pretty obvious they wouldn’t just let you farm some random low lvl boxes and stockpile them for mass amounts of xp in P2.

Yeah it is really sad that they announced no xp a day before launch.
But weeks before that they said they give more xp. And they do…bute only before lvl 25 they give 3k xp
Boxes under 25(Phase 1) wont give exp anymore.
Boxes over 25(Phase 2) You can no longer hand in empty boxes, stack to 12.
WSG marks dont give exp and wont be deleted.
Edit - Yep you still get exp for them.

exactly, they said they were to give exp, and you could stack up on the filled shipments but not the unfilled ones, so it’s obviously not an exploit. If they don’t like that design then it’s just a mistake on their end, it’s not an exploit
lol how is it on me? this is a new system with a clear option to stack the boxes if you want, and they said that they were gonna give more exp. Lots of people farmed it. And then just before launch they go “they wont give any exp”. It’s not an exploit, it’s a new system they put in that they’re obv not happy with, so it’s a mistake on their end for designing it this way and then changing it that late.
I could have been gold farming but instead I just threw gold away on nothing cuz they changed their mind last minute.
yea, same here. wasted a lot of time based on “they gonna give more xp”. Now they don’t even give reputation or xp. complete waste of money and time
They saw players amassing exp gains for launch and disabled them due to not wanting this to happen.
Tbh, blizzard have always stated before its in the game nothings 100% and admitted parts of information regarding SoD were false to retain some level of mystery.
Investing in concepts early is a high risk high reward option, it just happens players lost this time
