Blessing of Sanctuary and Sacrifice Change - Nerf in Utility
- Blessing of Sanctuary removed from pvp talents
- Blessing of Sanctuary is now a choice node with Blessing of Sacrifice
- Blessing of Sanctuary is now a 1 minute cool-down.
- Sacrifice of the Justice reduces Sanctuary cool-down by 15 seconds if Sanctuary is select. It will still reduce Sacrifice if Sacrifice is taken.
- Recompense moved to PVP talent.
- Worthy Sacrifice auto procs Sanctuary on the first friendly target within 40 yards. (Actually not worth taking tbh)
- Righteous Protection remains the same.
BOP and Spellward changes stop immunities, lower utility and increase skill floor, and make choices matter more as you can either have one or the other, not both
Blessing of spellwarding and Blessing of Protection spell redesign
- Blessing of Spellwarding removed from PVP Talent
- Blessing of Spellwarding is now a choice node with Blessing of Protection.
- Blessing of Protection redesigned: Now reduces all physical and bleed damage by 50% for 8 seconds - 6 minute cool-down. No longer causes Forbearance. Can no longer be dispelled.
- Blessing of Spellwarding redesigned: Now reduces all magic, poison or disease damage by 50% for 8 seconds - 6 minute cool-down. No longer causes Forbearance. Can no longer be dispelled.
- Improved Blessing of Protection (renamed) to Improved Protection.
- Improved Protection now reduces the cool-down of Blessing of Protection or Blessing of Spellward by 50% if used on himself. This means 3 minute CD 50% reduction for 8 seconds of either melee or magic, but 6 minutes if used on friendly players.
- Spreading the word (PVP Talent) redesigned: Casting Blessing of Protection now reduces all physical or bleed damage of those effected by Aura by 10% for 8 seconds. Casting Blessing of Spell warding reduces all magic, poison and disease damage of those effected by Aura by 10% for 8 seconds.
This means now Ret only has 1 immunity (Divine Shield), and its utility is reduced by making it so they only have access to SAC or SANC, and they only have option to use BOS or BOP - I know they currently share a CD, but you can still use either or ability, with this version you cannot.
This will make it harder for Rets to survive and they won’t be able to burst through immunities, or give immunities to other players. Additionally auto SANC improves quality of life but at the cost of not having SAC or Auto Sac.
These are substantial nerfs to the very low skilled and very high skilled, whilst making weaknesses such as Priest / Warrior comps not as powerful with them not being able to dispell BOP or BOS given they are just reduction now instead of outright immunities.
