Ways to improve damage in PVP?

Hello everyone,

I’m relatively new to WoW and managed to build a MM Hunter to level 60 and gear him with full unranked PVP gear from Oribos. All my gear is 7/7 which translates to 285 in PVP. And I enchanted every piece that I could, including weapon (followed icy-veins PVP guide for MM Hunters) I don’t have any legendaries yet.

Now, I’ve noticed that I hit like a wet noodle even when using Resonating Arrow + True Shot+ Double Tap + Trinket. Not to mention outside the “burst” windows (I think that’s how it’s called).

Now, I know nothing about arena and won’t enter it, because, I simply don’t like it.

I love doing BGs.

To my understanding, do you really need full ranked gear to start being effective in PVP?

Sorry for the noob question, but I had to post here since I find it really odd that after spending so much time getting honour, I simply hit terrible.

No. You need just know your rotation.

Depends what you mean with “being effective”. But yes, there’s a massive gap between honor gear and fully upgraded conquest gear.

Yes. This system is not fair for casual players who have 1 hour per day to play.

You learn by practicing, practice makes perfection.

Not a lot practice if you get 65k crits from hunters

Yeah well, you lack crucial pieces. You need to get set pieces that you can’t convert your honor gear into, so you need conquest gear. Then you also would want conquest weapon because it’s much better than honor gear and the difference becomes significant with each further upgrade.
Legendaries are crucial since they buff your stuff a lot.
