It’d be way easier/faster to be specific on what is alright with WC3:Reforged rather than listing every detail that’s wrong.

so basically, when it was Blizzconline, if someone would write WC3 Reforged in the chat it would get deleted, during course of 3 days, the general forums of WC3 Reforged were muted, meaning you could not write anything, except in the tech support.

I tried downloading classic wc3 and wcft from Blizzard site under classic game.
It kept downloading WC Re 
So then I download Diablo2/LoD.
Luckily they are still there. I will keep them on my HDD. BNet server for D2 is down, and has been for months now AFAIK. However this is not a big issue for me.
Went to preorder Diablo2:Re . Surprise at the outrageous price tag for an old game. Then surprised even more to see there is no preorder bonus.
They are waaaaaaay over their head. They totally lost it. Cannot wait to see another classic franchise gets butchered by Nu-Blizzardo
Lucky enough to got a backup, but still d**k move of them to make the old lightweight version inaccessible through legal means… Outside of second hand-market.
Their CEO clearly needs a private jet.

It’s clear they abandoned it. The remaster that failed so miserably isn’t worth saving/fixing.
I just don’t get how they managed to remaster starcraft 1 so well and failed so hard with warcraft 3.
I really hope, that Diablo 2’s remaster won’t be a repeat of warcraft 3 refunded.
They abandoned it because they pissed off that entire segment of the company. They’re gone. There’s nobody left to fix it. Or actually, I believe there’s a couple of people but they have no idea what they’re doing. They have to learn how to work on the game on their own - there is no knowledge sharing.
Team 1, aka the RTS team, is gone. They were apparently making a StarCraft themed shooter and another RTS, but Blizzard executives took their perfectly working development cycle nearing announcement and just yanked a section of them off to work on Overwatch 2 against their will, and right after that Warcraft 3: Reforged was rushed to market, and that’s a game that many of the Team 1 people either helped make or made them join Blizzard in the first place.
Needless to say, Team 1 was horribly, horribly pissed off. So pissed off, in fact, that they splintered into several new companies, and even Blizzard’s CEO/President left in part due to this.
Warcraft 3: Reforged wasn’t just a disaster for us Warcraft fans, it was a disaster for Blizzard’s organisation. For as much as we can laugh about the greediness of Blizzard’s executives, make no mistake: People at Blizzard come to work every day with passion the likes of which you can hardly fathom - and when a dump is taken on their achievements, they get pissed. Really pissed.
What this also means is that, from now, I expect 0 new RTS games from Blizzard. That era has ended completely. Maybe Dreamhaven will come out with one, we’ll see.

Luckily, there are still passionate RTS lovers out there.
I’ll point you towards a new team called Frost Giant Studios.
These guys are former Blizzard employees who worked on WC3, SC2 and so on and they’re on the mission to make RTS great again.

I said 0 new RTS games from Blizzard.
The RTS genre isn’t going anywhere. Sure, it’s not at the 1995-2010 sensational levels it used to be, but we’ve still got a metric ton of RTS games coming out all the time, as well as old ones getting remastered.
EDIT: And actually I am actively involved with Frost Giant Studios. They keep making these surveys and chats and more. It’s great. We’ll see what they come up with.
