Could have chosen to extend that lockout and bring out all the dungeons
Overall itās a weird combination of choices:
No M+ till week 4(?)
Release Mythic-0 minus 4 TWW dungeons
But do add a daily lockout so people can run them every day instead of once a week
8 dungeons per day is for the average player (who tends to work) also close to impossible to do reasonably. So if that was the reason, itās merely an excuse.
If we really asked for timegating, then Iād suggest players stop asking for stuff they know nothing about; game-designing. It never benefits the player. Choices benefit players, not the lack of.
Could have, yes. This would have a possibility but thatās what they opted for. I wouldāve also preferred to experience the new TWW dungeons on M0 but weāll have to wait for S2 I guess.

Itās indeed a bit much for the average player and Iāll also not be able to pump out 8 dungeons per day on every day this week. Iām still happy I have the option to do so though. 12 dungeons on the other hand would be complete overkill.
Fully agree with this. Itās also why I suggested to just enable M+ from the very start or at least 1 week after launch.
If āfalling behindā is such a huge issue to players (according to Blizzards internal statistics) then just disable loot from M+ until the season starts, so players who want to spam M+ for the sake of having fun can do that without getting ahead.
Seems every old dungeon m0 in current season os pretty oneshoot atm. 0 mechanics, 0 important things. Big pulls and just nuke all. New dungeons are challenge especially trash on bugbreaker - its pretty okey. So we still and again doing old content and we cant even enter on m0 in half of new dungeons.
What are you even talking about people dont play dungeons because they are new they play dungeons because they enjoy playing them and for gears achie etc.
This new mix of new and old is here to stay and its great for the game
In my opinion its good ad seasonal m+ dungeons. But they didnt let us doing m0 on tww dungeons. Its terrible move, terrible timegating. I am shocked because people accept and tolerate timegating. Not every timegate is wrong but in base m0 dungeons from tww its terrible.
it is not issue ā¦ if u dont like no one is forcing you to play game ā¦ i gues u like more to play whole expansion same 8 dungeons and nothing else instead of rotation for every season
I just wanna new content. Old dungeons are pretty ok in m + pool but not weeks after expansion release when people wanna do and learn new content, not old oneā¦
Including only the seasonal dungeons as mythic 0s honestly feels like a bad idea. Strange too I donāt see why they made that change when the old system worked fine

Yup. Never been particularly fond of being able to solo past raids. Yeah great i got all the cosmetics from there, but still itās like walking through an art gallery with all the centrepieces cut out.
Exactly. We talking about m0 thats why i am still shocked about this. People still think i created this thread to complain about M+ while im talking about new dungeons on JUST M0. I am really shocked about nearly everyone dont see problem and just accepting this. Maybe in next expansion we get 8 new dungeons but in normal/hc lfr just 4 of them will be new one and rest old oneā¦
I agree. I was surprised that they replaced four of the new dungeons in the HC/M0 rotation with four old dungeons ā three weeks after release. That adds to my āsame old, same oldā feeling about TWW. The entire expansion feels uninspired.
Except Grim Batol, these are also somewhat recent dungeons that I feel I played ad nauseum not all that long ago. And to boot, they also drop old expansion materials/cloth, because apparently nobody thought of updating the loot tables.
Iāll see how I feel about things after a couple weeks of M+. Right now I honestly canāt see myself playing for several more months. But Iāll see, maybe Iām just a little burnt out and let the frustration with all the bugs and poor design choices taint my view. At the end of the day itās just a game.
Canāt believe people are actually defending this practice. This isnāt just in mythics/mythic + which has been to be expected.
I got pulled into Grim Batol (a Cataclysm dungeon) in the random dungeon finder for just a heroic. What tf is the point in that?
If I want to do old content, Iāll queue specifically for it in Time Walking. Time Walking as a concept is fine, breaks up the cycle, has good rewards and also is incredible exp for alts (big thanks for making it accessible to more levels soon).
What I donāt want is to just be randomly thrown in any old dungeon, when I queue for this expansionās content.
