We are killing our own server

There were usually atleast 3 x 40 man raids dominating burning steppes for example. Good luck getting together let alone a single 40 man raid of pvpers on shazzrah.

There are barely any alliance left, let alone any pvpers. Smh at your logic…

No, it’s more like “the death of pvp on pvp-server detected”.

Hmm, seems like pvp is live and kicking with all that ganking going on.

There used to be alot of “pvp” if you can call 40 vs 1 pvp. Now horde are crying because there are noone left to grief and queues are 1-2 hours. So yeah, it’s pretty much dying and have been coming for a long time. =( A shame really.

It is a shame, but this always seem to happen. People say they want balance and then flock to the majority faction.
I’m guessing they’re not prepared to take the risk of ending up on the minority side at the end of the day. Shame, but there it is.

Yeah, it’s a bit sad tbh. Was looking forward to TBC alot but imo the players ruined it for both sides. It just took a bit longer until it bit horde in the butt, even if just a tiny bite.

That is true, very few dare take the risk on playing alliance on a pvp-server. I did enjoy the few fights that were like 2 vs 10 and you still managed to kill a few of them before falling to their numbers. Was some epic fights.

But I can’t really say I blame anyone for quitting if they’ve had the typical classic vanilla experience as alliance though.

I just think it’s a better option to play on a pve server rather than quitting. That’s only my opinion ofc.
It seems we have plenty of pvp refugees on pyrewood. That will ofc create a new problem with it eventually becoming a mega server, but I’m not so sure people will move to a less populated one, so it is what it is .

Oh yes indeed. Had I known what Shazzrah would become I would’ve gladly traded the thrill of wpvp for a pve-server and just being able to play the game. It’s a bit late for me and my friends now though. We just got really burnt out by the constant greifing by huge numbers and everyone decided to quit.

I’ve farmed some Kara as horde but that was boring after the first clear. Pvp was mainly our thing. None of my friends/guildies started over at all. So my chapter will end here with 0 bgs run. And spamming BGs was the main attraction for us. Great irony that horde drove us all away. But hey, it’s summer and I can enjoy the weather with the peace of mind knowing that horde suffers from their pvp-starvation. :innocent:

If you quit because you got pvp’d this game wasn’t for you, I don’t understand why you’re wasting your time on these forums.

Haha, ok. Enjoy your 2h queues that will only grow longer and longer. And you keep telling yourself that it is because alliance can’t stand pvp. Good luck!

I enjoy doing world pvp, which is what this thread is all about, 2h queues are fine, not my fault that alliance can’t fight back sorry.

It does, one of them gives more fun. And yeah I will enjoy my ques dont worry. I only need 2 more honor items anyway.

My point was that you will get killed and camped either way, it doesn’t matter if you are lvl 20, 40 or 62. But then again you understood that full well so idk why I’m even spelling it out for you…

I feel bad about Horde PVE players. They should get seperate PVE server queues. But if they do, pvp server hordes will have like what? 4 hour queues?

Yeah I know and I understand frustration but since its a PvP server Im up for even killing low lvl players on the run by passing them. But camping them isnt neither profitable or fun so thats not smth I would advise others to do.

Maybe its just forum that triggers me so much that after that I just want to go and wpvp everyone I meet. Only problem is that both factions are acting just stupid.
From one hand horde is crying about merc mode all day all night that they even made some forum crusade about anihilation of alliance like it would be smth new. We all now how horde (me included) acts in the world and from the other hand we have alliance players who still live in p2 flashbacks and only thing they see is “horde bad, horde suffer, suffering good”.

I wish ppl were just killing the s*** out of each other in wpvp instead of crying on forum. And I mean both sides, not only one.

Anyway I rly hope that you and your friends will find the fire inside you and get hyped again but since you are enjoying the summer I wish you good time irl too!

lets just hope that they dont reroll horde to not get ganked

Yeah I can def agree with some of that! Yeah it’s a bad state right now. Extremely polarized from both sides and I would be lying if I said I don’t enjoy horde’s suffering now after they pretty much killed my guild and server. It’s just sad though, everyone loses in the end. Oh well, life goes on!

Wish you the same!

Sure, there’s like 70% Alliance on my server.
I’m in the “majority” 30% faction apparently… So… What’s your point?

I play on firemaw alliance. it seems okayish balanced. its pretty much 50/50 sometimes full grp of alliance at summoning stone and sometimes just horde but most of the time (atleast at auchindon) it comes to huge gankfest both sides. About crying on forum… some allis even cry on a heavy alliance layer in general chat… feels more like a meme sometimes…
