We Demand a 10% XP Buff

So all the EA Whales who sat and paid got a full Weeks worth of leveling, I know people with 4-5 70s already, most of which are all 470ish ilvl.

Now, we’ve 1 full day and you want to nurf the XP Gain? Most normal working players haven’t even had a chance to hit level 75, with some of us managing a 80.

But it seems incredibly poor for you to remove fast alt leveling for the vast majority of your players.

You can sit and say it’s “unintended” all you want/like but it’s been like this since Alpha and Beta, you’ve had plenty of time to tweak this, you’re not a “Small Indie Dev” regardless of how poorly you act as a company.

It’s bad enough you basically add early access to WoW for the first time ever, bad enough the leveling is so quick, but what’s poor is you’re sending a clear message that you fully Endorse “pay to win”, which I mean has been obvious since Game Tokens /w boosting, nothing in WoW is “prestige” any more, and leveling now seems to have come under your corporate greed.

All players, or at the very least all none EA players deserve at least a 10% XP Buff to counter the silly leveling nurf.

Absolute poor by blizzard. Only ones clapping you will be the people with alts a’ plenty.

This is not welcome and the community needs to be pretty united about this.

I mean the Season 4 recycle of content from SL and DF is poor enough, bad enough you’d rather do Panda Remix than another raid or content other people are wanting to play, but this is even worse, can you stoop any lower?

It’s funny you do stuff like this when real issues like the AH being utterly broken is amazing, honestly I can’t even.

Why? It literally only took me a day and half to level from 70 to 80, and that was taking my time, not rushing.

The XP probably needs nerfing actually, if you can burn through the levels that fast.

Because if I’d have known leveling would be 10-20%+ faster going with EA, I’d have paid for it too.

It’s either a sneaky 9000iq move from Blizzard to make EA more appealing next time around or someone’s got problems.

Like I said they had tonnes of time to tweak this before live, and they didn’t. It’s funny how regular retail players have had like 24hrs before they go “FIX”.

They could have “fixed” this mid EA. But why annoy the EA payers eh?

And why waste time on this when the AH is so broken it’s not even funny, without addons it’s literally impossible to buy stuff.

a lot of people i play with where complaining:

Cant learn dungeons because everything dies. like we talking 6s boss fights.
Scaling was absolutely broken. But I am with you on something. To even it out between the accesses: they should have done this change next reset. So it would be a bit more fair to give normal access also a few days to see it and use it.

The slow-down will most notably be around L70~75, but you will most likely feel it after as well. Not gonna lie, it feels bad to be so weak. This is a scaling issue in general though, and can’t be solved with just an xp buff. They should look at the scaling and make players less weak when leveling. I didn’t start getting gear upgrades until L78, and we’re talking like 3~6 ilvls.

It’s rich coming from me saying that the nerf is fine being L80 during early access, but I didn’t particularly enjoy 1shotting everything. The prot pala I play with was also complaining that things died too fast and he was questing as tank… I literally avoided doing dungeons because it just wasn’t fun.

Now that I’m 80 though I’m feeling really weak wearing campaign gear, that’s not okay either. This is the one thing that’s consistently bad for all expansion launches I’ve played:

  • BfA
  • SL
  • DF
  • TWW

What exactly is the issue now? Yeah, you might need 2 hours longer to level to 80 than EA players did, so what?

All the major content is still locked/timegated for 2/3 more weeks. So there’s not really a lot you can miss right now.

Lmao.

Edit: was replying to something else and both messages showed up here.

I played early access and still not level 80. Exp buff is not needed.

As per title: No, we don’t.

Same here. I finished the campaign 2 days after the official release.

But its OK. We got a month to do everything there is to do. Plenty of time !

idk leveling still feels really fast as long as u do Dungeons

was it ever this fast? leveling in bfa or sl took 10 times longer than now or not?

74% xp in 12 Minutes with only 5% xp buff

and thats the whole point

so that next time you will buy EA

should have bought 1 this time too

Weeks of leveling ? It wasnt even a full week.

They arent nerfing xp gains tho are they? They just corected scaling so 70s cant solo whole dungeon . And gues what, they still can pretty much do the same.

Soo 10-20% ? Before update a normal person ( not speedruner or full group ir whatnot) could level second char in dungeon in about 3 hours . Thats 180min , 10% of that is 18 min, 20% is 36 .

Acording to you, going from 70 to 80 is 18 to 36 mins longer than before, to me personaly thats nothing at all , after your 3rd char u wouldnt even notice that difference , its nothing .

And to be honest, it had to be done, shame they didnt do it at start but still, scaling was super broken .

Who is this “we” ?

Nobody noticed that the OP got his first paragraph completely wrong?

damn ur right, at this point i am a omega whale with 10 level 70 alts already :scream:

Well say you have 10 alts, it will all add up.

Well it was pretty much a working week.
