Yeah it is. I was not defending them i was just clarifying what was talked on stream. But honestly i don’t think they want alliance to get free mode either. They just are not doing very good job on trying to balance the whole thing. And this coming from someone who has not put WM on at all, ever, not on horde toons, not on alliance even for that ilvl400 item :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The 400 ilvl is ok. I just don’t understand why the hordes don’t get the same thing. Its supposed to be a pvp expansion and this is the only pvp feature in this game. No the warfronts are boring after the first play. I had hopes that we would see 20v20 warfronts with real players on both side. Naaa , let blissard work on their worls quests and island expeditions.

They don’t want the Horde to leave Warmode, they want players that don’t like to pvp to leave Warmode. I think this is perfectly fine. Lots of Horde have Warmode enabled just for the bonus, and they see the wpvp as a nuisance, not as the whole reason to enable Warmode.

It’s been a while since I watched it, but I don’t remember it mentioning PvP at all. Is it because the Horde and Alliance are fighting? They’ve done that in every expansion.

This Q&A: We avoided all the hard questions by ignoring them or giving a lawayer asnwer. Also we gave the stupidiest arguements for stuff like a PvP vendor and how making 4 sets is more diversity than 12 class sets!

I give up on this dev team 100% now… they simply don’t want to work hence all the RNG, even their asnwer on valor vs TF rng was WTF?

Bliz: “We don’t want people to get items that surpass a difficulty!”
Players: “Perfect valor from bosses, weekly cap!”
Bliz: “Uhm but then uhm… you might kill a boss who has no upgrades for you!”

They dodged the alied race question with laywer speak again, even in the guild it was clear everybody finds these Q&A’s a joke at this point. The only thing this team seems good is adding more RNG and reduce labor by reducing art assets.

At least we may be able to have 50 characters on one realm! It may cost an absolute fortune to move them all there, but I’m sure Blizzard wasn’t swayed by that and it came as a complete surprise to them.

That is very true and it shows especially on assaults.
The constant whining on /1… allies this, allies that, got ganked, damn allies, just wanna finish assault, allies allies allies…

Those people are not there to fight at all, they born on hordemode summer and got fat.
They can still prove great warriors for the Horde in the future, but now its whining fat babies

I reached the point post 8.1 they run away from even if 2vs1 (2 of them vs me), their intrest in occassional PvP on a scale of 0 to 10 is -10. We have seen it on the forums since day of 8.1, the moment enough Alliance came back so the balanced shards we could stop doing hit and run tactics or simply hide in stealth 24/7 there has been non-stop complaining. There are simpyl too many Horde PvE’ers active in WM. Making them ragequit actually will balance it all out, if they said is true it was perfectly balanced at the start. Thus now with sharding in place and if the Hordemode PvE’ers quit we could create alot of balanced WPvP shards!

It’s not an occasional gank dumbass. It’s constantly farming flight paths and quests by raids/groups.

Except that isn’t what is happening. A days worth of continuous WM Alliance tourist in lots five man parties farming their 25 kills is not Horde PVEers in WM complaining they have to do some PvP.

Honestly, I think this whole WM concept and it’s implementation were a very bad idea overall.

I for ex., always had PvP on, always played on PvP/RP servers and always will have the PvP on. Because I like the rush of a potential random encounter, because I like the feeling of looming danger, because I enjoy exchanging punches with the opposite faction, something Warcraft was always about. I don’t need any additional bonuses in order to participate in PvP, my desire and enjoyment is more than enough.

I actually dislike the darned XP bonus, since I’m outgrowing zones rapidly as I’m questing just because I like to participate in world PvP and I’m not fond of that.
So just kill the WM XP bonuses for both factions and let people that want to participate in world PvP because they actually like PvP switch it on. Make the bonuses and perks PvP related, not PvE and maybe things will start balancing themselves out as opposed to figuring out whom to give the larger carrot this week, next week and so on.

The approach towards discouraging people from using an aspect of the game for a certain purpose should never be to make the gaming experience of a large group of players absolutely miserable and to reward the other faction for helping them.

All they need to do for Alliance is say if you turn on War Mode, it stays on for one week. Let em moan. But Quite simple really :))

Actually thinking about this too. Make wm status change with week cooldown.
Also give horde quest on 25 kills too. It will balance things even with 10% / 30% difference.

they dont want actual pvp to happen because alliece bails out on slightest sight of pvp

but to boost participation numbers on allience (most probably to please management who are like "whoho you spend X milion of $$$$ on feature X and only 1 side use it ? fix it imidiately ) - they want horde to stop using WM.

they dont even farm WQ - if you logged in lfg is filled with :

1)flightpath X farming
2)entrance to instance X farming

there are no groups that say “lets atack horde in WQ areas” because this would mean actual pvp could happen.

disgusting behaviour but hey its free 400 itlv loot so everybody joins those. (hell i joined them and laught at how bad allience are at using stuns/slows :slight_smile: )

if what was happening how was pvp

killing people 40 vs 1 when they cant move for few seconds when landig on flightpath is not pvp - this is abomination of pvp .

imagine arenas when 1 team wouldnt be able to do literaly anything for 10 initial seconds - woudl you participate in "pvp " like this ?
