"We dont want so many horde to use WM"

Nope this is wrong point/ Let’s hope alliance will stay with WM on

Let me ask you something. How would you fix the 10 to 1 disparity between Alliance and Horde in WarMode?

I think the 400-Item is a good idea (eventhough not even that will compel me to activate WarMode. I hate it with a passion).

And as far as I hear, even now there are more Horde than Alliance.

According to Ion the big imbalance between Ally and Horde at the start of the xpac was because of sharding. This is what happens when devs are either lazy or lack foresight when making new mechanics.

The only psychological thing that they know and care about is how to use randomness and gambling to addict people into their game.

that was a typical bs answer

when truth is much simpler - allience simply dont care about pvp like horde does - they only do it when there is tangible gear reward.

you will see it this reset - without 400 itlv most allience wont bother becaue its a waste of time - while horde will once again turn wm on .

Fix should be around sharding, which looks to me as good option to balance WM.

This can be balanced to merge shards at some point to bring equal players from both sides or just isolate some side to be alone, because there is no more opposite players to join and so on.

Yea maybe this is hard work, before today reset, me as alone horde player always see alliance to dominate the shard I join for assault quest , till I switch it with premade tool.

It’s only popular on the Horde side because they love to gank lowbies, Alliance got an encouragement system implemented WHICH IS NOT an Alliance bias, either faction can get it, but more and more Alliance stopped using it because people were tired of getting constantly 1v5’ed around every corner, now that Alliance is coming back into the PVP context people just had to whine it out how Alliance is killing Hordes, so basically Alliance gave 1/5th of what Hordes are providing daily then they started complaining how they got ganked. Despite Alliance getting that 1 400 ilvl piece pretty much every single guild out there pushing world first mythic is more or less Horde, it’s still a 90% representation so it’s not like the item that 1 week gave amazing benefits to the Alliance.

It’s hilarious how they put PvE incentives in War Mode with next to no PvP-related incentives or gameplay (that isn’t actual PvP) at all and then expect it not to be a PvE farm fest.

And what do they do? Try and use PvE incentives to “balance things out”… There seems to be very few braincells at Blizzard nowadays.

No this imbalance started to exist because of Horde seeing a free 10% bonus. We were fairly balanced in WM at the start, but once they saw Horde was in the advantage let’s all massivly join aswell. Having them off permamently is needed. If Horde didn’t camp FPs and were ganking 24/7 much less Alliance would have disabled it. But we were just called cowards when a WQ could easily take 20 minutes or there is no chance in hell you will ever be able to get a dungeon or raid entrance that wasn’t filled to the brim with Horde.

Horde tasted this for 1 week (that Tol’dagor last wednesday felt like retribution) and Horde forgot their own advice of “Git Gud” and “Turn WM off”. When a raid had to be resetted or tuned to anathor difficulty the 3 out of the 20+ people who still WM always died the moment we stepped outside. Horde had no competition and what were we to do? 3vs 20/30/40/50+?

actualy no, you were saying that to people that enjoyed WM and had it on from the start and only really complained when there WAS a imbalance in the rewards pushed to the point it insentised the very attitudes you clame turned people off WM in the first place.

The fact was Horde liked WM on while alliance started to turn off for many reasons, and rather than reward the brave people that kept it on showing hey war mode is worth on you shouldnt chicken out. It instead rewarded the cowards that ran off by incuraging the worst kind of pvp.

In the end the so called balancing act brought out the very worst of things, the very people that Blizzard clamed they didnt want in the servers.

The devs themselves admitted it, the moment they saw it was free win as Horde they all just turned it on. This increased the amount of gank squads more and more and in turn forced Alliance to turn it off. yet when these who joined are not in a group they chicken out 100% of the time, I have to chase down Horde players solo. Yes solo! Thought they loved WPvP? Too afraid for a good 1vs1? Guess so…

Probably expected that you were bait with six stealthed rogues around you.

Edit:

Or four since you were farming the quest.

I was one of the very few and i mean really really few there kept the war mode but i can say i Righteous retreated so many times and i only did the nessary world quests because of there was at least 5 hordies at every quest that i had to wait for them to be done i think they needs to give us either The High elves and The 400 Item level to ballance it.
