We don't want to watch streamers

Can you please stop making us do it for rewards?
We get it, makes you money but I don’t wanna watch any of them.

From my own experience, most of them influence me into playing the game or not, when I don’t listen to them I just play so as much as you think it’s helping, they can actually hurt you. Long term that is.

Give us in-game events to earn things, I despise twitch and I really do not enjoy watching someone play the game or pretend theyre playing while making cringe questions and … urgh no.

Tah.
Loving the expansion so far.

We don’t need to ‘watch’. We just need to have the stream playing.
I have not watched a single minute, but I’ve received every promotional reward they’ve done.

Watching is not necessary, just tune in, mute, and go about your business. Not a big deal really.

Open stream, right click tab → mute, forget it exists, enjoy your free item.

Is Ion in your room with a gun to your head?
Nobody is forcing you to watch anything.

true, tonight I had a stream going and i muted him then he tried to get me to watch that Annie Fuschia person? Skipped her, ended up on Xaryu, muted him and 3 hours later I claimed my thing.

I genuinely couldnt care less about watching another play or sit there trying to be pretty or whatever.

no he isn’t

Long time no see him =(

Wait people watch them?
You’re doing it wrong… find a chap or chapette with low views, set stream: 180p, mute, minimize the browser and do something more worthwhile. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

But yeah, be handy if we could skip that nonsense all together and just earn the stuff in game.
I hear Blizzard is listening for the umpteenth time, maybe we got a chance changing it. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I’m also in the let it run while muted club, I think at this stage most people are. It sounds like a lot 4 hours, but you can break it up over the month.

Waoh!! Champiun!! We need to heal tha woonz by watching 4 hours of Asmongold!! Boost Azeroth’s spirits by gifting 2 subs to a millionaire! Wahhoooo Champion!!

I don’t mind it until the requirement is you have to pay them money (subs). But obviously this is working for them, they keep doing it. It’s the same as any business they do, if it works they will keep doing it and push the boat further the next time.

If it didn’t work, they would stop doing it.

Yeah, I’ll tolerate putting them on mute in the background but I’m not sending money to individuals who often turn out to be involved in scandals.

Holy :poop: blizz

I don’t play retail so miss all this stuff.

I have honestly never watched a single gamer streamer In my life, maybe if they gave like 6months sub for 10mins of watch time I would consider it.

I’m an old cow, as an old cow I realised many moooo’ns ago I don’t have to do things just because other people do it, or because some corporate giant wants me to do it.

Why watch some unwashed nerd play a game in his/her bedroom when you can be doing it yourself.

Its similar to celebrities, people are willing to let streamers get away with a lot because they’re “popular”. I’d understand if they were mildly interesting/entertaining but the large majority of them simply aren’t.

Same. I detest it but I like mounts too much so I just put one on mute.
Last time it was this wannabe- cutesy 18-21 year old girl that was just standing afk and giggly talking with her ‘chat’.

I honestly don’t get people that spam twitch every day.

The worst one is having to gift 2 streamer subs for a pet. Just ew.
