Whoever came up with this quest there you have to kill 25 flying lava things in the Eye of Izera by spamming a single button every 3 seconds should be awarded the “Best-quest-idea-ever” prize. There will be nothing better after this.

On a (sort of) related note, i’d like to give the RSI-award to whoever thought adding those drops to those seeds we plant in ED one at a time was a good idea…

Way better than the swirlie over swirlie over swirlie times 1000 in raid.
The floor is lava is not fun unless you are like under age 10.

It’s slightly more bearable if you run them over with a dragonriding mount. But yeah, those “vehicle on rails” quests are not ßarticularly interesing.

It could have been worse, they could just have you sitting on a dragon for 2 mins while it flies around doing the killing itself.

That was the “accessibility option” for people that struggle with dragonflying, or in your case reading.

Well, at least in this case I’d be able to grab a cup of tea. My point though is about how poor some of the quests are designed. Just like the brains of our old good friend Deja here.

Better yet, you only kill one of the things if they are in range. So, it may be more.
Completely shameful. They should at least lower it to 8 or something. It’s embarrassing.
You can do the quest with your dragonriding mount… Which is the whole idea behind that. The autoflying and “press 1 button” thing is just an option for people who either dont like that or simply cant because whatever.
Pretty sure it’s not new, we already had it once in legion on the alliance gunship where we have to shoot down forsaken bats and then once again in shadowlands in the ardentweald world quest where you have to shoot down the swarming bugs. Might be in some other more places that I just don’t remember. The point being that we already reached that point a while ago.

I did this the first time and then could not hand in the quest. Kept telling me mount my dragon (optional). So I dropped the quest and had to do it the loooooong way only then once completed and I was blowing spit bubbles out of boredom, could I hand it in.
yeah i wondered about the text and did it anyway. after doing the Q i knew what it mean.
need to do it with a different char the normal way.

Reading is such a diminished skill these days, that I can see them finding a way to challenge people by making a quest where one needs to read a page and answer a question to an NPC
Honourable mention goes to every single class design in the game.
It’s deliberate to drag out time. I mean they often used this other system where you could hit multiple, almost spam it and move yourself. So it is there, simply was a choice here.
Not enough content in the campaign, need to drag it out as much aa possible.
