No hypocrisy on my part. Just someone who thinks differently to yourself.
Again, stop being toxic, let this conversation go, and let me live my life. You can you do same.

While discussing your opinion with others’.
That is hypocrisy. If you expect people respect your opinion, you need to respect others’ as well.
Stating your opinion and feelings like it’s a fact, is unhealthy for the discussion.
Again, I’m sorry you see this as a personal attack, I just find it in bad taste to not practice what you preach, refusing to take into consideration other perspectives but your own.
We’re a community, this is a game for multiple people. What you think is bad is your subjective opinion, saying things like player housing killing WoW, is baseless conjecture.
If the game is so dead find some other forum to pester.
I’m not discussing my opinion.
I’m stating my opinion.
But you seem to be trying to change it. All these threads seem to do is try and call me stupid for having an opinion. I’m just stand by it.
You don’t need to agree with me. But I really don’t need to hear why you don’t like it. Just say “nah mate, I disagree”, rather than going through the rubbish of picking it apart.
Maybe if you were capable of separating your opinions from objective truth, sure.
Until then, I’m afraid I just can’t help myself. I have this kind of compulsion for calling out bs statements when I see them.
Like saying player housing will kill WoW, an absolutely bogus statement.
Or saying there’s nothing to agree or disagree on, belittling others’ opinion by dismissing it entirely. While calling for others to respect your opinion, lol.
I know you yourself can’t see how absurd it looks, and that speaks for more than I could ever really say, truly.
Hmm. I have established that it’s not an objective truth.
But when you make a statement that you believe you should write it that you believe it! For me, it is a truth, because that is how I view the world.
You don’t have to agree with my view of the world (of warcraft). But you don’t have have to tell me that I’m not allowed to think that way.
I think maybe you’re ignoring the fact (an actual objective truth), that I don’t care for you picking apart my opinion. I just want to state my opinion and be done with the topic. I don’t care for whether you agree with me or not. You don’t have to agree, you just don’t need to tell me why.
Thats why I called you toxic, because you don’t seem interested in just leaving me be.
Then I guess use social media if you don’t want people to call you out for your opinion being weird and non-sensical? Forums are made to discuss topics and opinions, not as a “Me me me! Me me, me!” Echo chamber.
Again, if you don’t want to be called out for the things you say, don’t say them. No one cares for your opinion if you’re not gonna explain and make sense of it, we don’t care about your feelings.
Facts, statistics, common sense, that’s all fine. Those are grasp able concepts worth discussing and basing an argument around.
Why would anyone in here, devs or otherwise, care about your feelings?
Well there is a big movement against that type of Cancel culture/cyber bullying. So if you don’t want to be labelled as a cyberbully, then I would suggest that you start accepting difference of opinion on topics. And maybe leave someone alone when they want to be left.
Actually hilarious
If you can’t handle discussions don’t participate, it’s that simple.
Your opinions are often nonsense and idiotic, though. But hey, that’s my opinion, and I am allowed to have that.
I respect others’ opinion more if they can explain it and make sense of it. I, and indeed, no one else cares about hearing your personal feelings just to hear them.
Shadowlands has rotted people’s brains with this nonsensical go-to boogeyman of “cosmic apocalypse-level threat”. That was ONE expansion, saying you’re sick of it and want to go back to the good old days as if it was something that was going on for a decade is flat out wrong and makes zero sense.
If with “cosmic threats” you’re also referring to the Burning Legion, that IS Warcraft and is a core component of the lore that should never have been disposed of as quickly as it was. It’s like wanting Lord of the Rings to move past orcs. Legion was fantastic but taking out the Burning Legion and Sargeras so that their incompetent modern writing team can “expand the lore” has set the game up for failure, and it has been failing ever since.
Nobody is talking about cosmic threats, I’m talking about there being a threat of any kind that feels tangible. You straight up said it reminds you of earlier expansions, and the 2 earliest expansions are TBC and Wrath which both feel infinitely more threatening with the bs we have now. Northrend was oppressive, cool, expansive, and nothing else needs to be said about Arthas. TBC was similar with Illidan in the background but just the setting itself was extremely cool and alien. Dragonflight and TWW are lameness personified with its girl bossing, non-existent threats, and boring environments focusing on boring characters.
Hallowfall had a lot of potential with its Diablo/Warhammer inspirations, and what it boiled down to was paladin zealots fighting fish people when it goes dark. There should have been an abyssal leviathan that came out, or some major void-themed threat that decimated the zone, killed Faerin, and had that male belf paladin replace her so that we have a female>male change in leadership for once.
Because there isn’t really much to discuss.
We have 2 different points of view, and neither one of us will ever budge, so why bother discussing it. Just disagree and move on.
Life is too short to argue with people over a computer game.
Maybe but forum pvp is the real endgame, the arguments we had along the way.
Plenty more to come where that came from
What do you have in mind?
I just went through all the side quests in the Ringing Deeps, read every quest, listedened to every dialogue, and other small things. I enjoyed it well enough. Had a few moments of… “Eh okay”(the fog beast quest ending was a bit sharp and stupid, and the goblins making me blow up goblins for not bringing papers felt cringe. I was told by my partner that the latter was a reference to a game with the same name, which is a typical thing for Blizzard to do), but overall I do appreciate a lot of the side quests personally. Sometimes side quests lead to bigger stories later. That is part of building a world. I think Lillian Voss came from one of those, but I admit I forgot the original quest with her. I just know I was happy to see they pulled her back in later, with more story to her character. So I did take note of her early on.
I am curious to know what you have in mind when you want something else though? As it is, it’s obviously not perfect, but I don’t see it as all bad either. Otherwise I would not have put time into reading all thse side quests and dialogues.
Note, I do see what I consider bad writing too. I hated most of the story going on in SL. Revendreth was the only zone I don’t recall having any complaints about.
Only endgame content worth participating in at the moment
Filler term is absolutely relevant because certain wow expansions aren’t really contributing much to the azeroth faith and farm from being epic. For instance, Pandaria and WoD are not that important for the main story and if you remove them it won’t impact the main story path too much.
What a ridiculous statement
