Okey so cause a change that affected all raiders without any options was bad that’s also means it is Ok to doom housing and it’s impact before it’s even here?
You now housing is optional or atleast that’s what blizzard said it would be.
And cause you personally get nothing out of the warband that feature is ofcourse also bad.
Personally I didn’t think of Dragonflight as a filler expansion. It may not have been cosmic-catastrophes again, but it was good. In terms of atmosphere and environment, I felt the game was at a high point.
My main gripe was leaving off at season 3 when it really felt like there should have been a proper season 4 with its own raid. Why did Iridikron get to just walk out of the story? And if he was going to do so, could it not have been as an escape from a confrontation with us, rather than quietly fading away after sending Fyrakk to die on our swords?
players wanted content to be delivered faster… this is the trade off we pay for it. Dragonflight and war within. They are more or less the exact same expansion with a new story and different wrapping.
We’re not going to get mechagon like zones. Khortia… Zereth mortist. The maw… that kinda content anymore… Welcome to wow from temu. Ali express.
Gone are the days where every new expansion had new features and content like warfronts and island expeditions. Mage towers… Azerithe power. Legion artifacts. so on and so on.
You get 8 new dungeons and a new story and a new zone. With some very laid back easy activities to do that respects your time.
What I find mind blowing is that we’re paying the same money for less game being developed compared to before. Paying full price and sub for some new zones and dungeons only.
Someone complaining about Free content and loot? 20th birthday give you the chance to get alot of past loot you might have mist out on OR to collect a large number of time walking badges to get new loot. Yes Punderstorm is really for PVP people but there some good stuff in there for lamb to the slaughter players.
Each to thier own but still there giving us plenty of new stuff since November.
I am personally extremely tired of the whole multiverse is danger plot which is why this expansion has felt so nice as my character feels more like a adventurer than some kind of temu version of avenger.
If that was the draw for showing up for the anniversary of a video game, we might as well all move over to The Sims with its 25 year anniversary where you also get free content, events, and lots of transmogrification!!!
For reference:
But since this is World of Warcraft there’s obviously a desire for gameplay that goes a bit beyond that which you’ll find in The Sims. Because we’re ultimately not here to dress up our barbie dolls, but to go on an adventurous journey in a fantasy world and fight scrupulous villains and use powerful spells and explore forgotten caves in search of wonderful treasure.
The number of new underwear introduced to World of Warcraft does not make World of Warcraft a better game. It makes The Sims 4 a better game, but this isn’t The Sims 4 we’re playing.
Blizzard are getting quite the free pass for the lack of actual gameplay content additions in World of Warcraft in recent years because they’re able to shove enough collectibles down some players’ gullets to keep them quiet.
You know, I am actually deeply concerned for this game with some of the ideas I see thrown around on the forums.
Even looking at the Plunderstorm thread. There are people who are complaining about having to do it, and just going in to do the 250 plunder quest and then dying on purpose.
Thankfully I have not yet seen that attitude play out in the Plunderstorm.
But when people express this kind of defeatist play style, it makes me sad. Because these people come on the forums and moan about how the game is too hard for them and all they care about is feeding their collecting addiction.
That makes the game less fun for those of us who enjoy the challenge.
You believe what you like. I really don’t care. But for some reason you’re here trying to fight me for having a different opinion, as if I’m wrong, and you can’t accept someone who has a difference of opinion. That’s called being toxic!
I accept other opinions I just don’t let doom saying stay uncommented especially not if there are no indications for it to be true.
I really don’t like the mindset of “if you don’t like my opinion don’t engage with me” that you can see more and more not only in the forum but also online in general.
All that does is feeding echo chambers.
And I honestly have nothing against you personally you seem to be a ok dude but this.
Is pretty funny after I literally said we can agree to disagree since we obviously have different opinions but you said no.
And then you said
You say it’s not you opinion for you it’s the truth.
So following you own word I am technically not not accepting your opinion since it isn’t an opinions.
I have nothing against you opinion if housing is the worst feature for you then that’s ok but acting like that’s an undisputable fact that is true for everyone is that really still an opinion?
I’m pointing out the negatives of a badly thought out response to loud forum uses.
That’s not doom saying. Thats pointing out that the feature is bad for the game.
The point is, you might say that we can disagree. But you see to have a habit of responding to all of my posts, as if you’re trying to badger me away from even letting my voice be heard.
This has been going on for days. I have just decided to call you out.
You say its a feature that is bad for the game as if that is a undisputable fact and you have some official numbers on how many people dislike the feature.
But since you obviously don’t want me to comment on your posts I will ofcourse not continue doing that from this point on.
Have a nice day
So not only are you downplaying others’ opinion about player housing, something many players have wanted done right since they failed in WoD, and then stating your opinion of WoW being less good because of it - even though the feature hasn’t even shown yet?
You seem to think very highly of yourself and very lowly of others, even though a quick look at your achievement page shows your engagement with the game to be casual in actuality.
You don’t have any superiority to type like you do in this thread, all your answers are baseless conjectures based on your irrational feelings.
Everything has been filler after Legion. WoD was bad too yes. Midnight feels like first expansion when they might actually focus on the game instead of PR woke leggings sluts.
I want Dragonflight back! I liked the whole Theme way more. M+ was also not perfect in DF but S1 TWW made me almost quite the Game! Dornogal is not as bad as Oribos but still far away from being my favorite
To be honest, aside from the fact that TWW is only meant to be an opening chapter for something bigger later on, I don’t see an issue with a few “toned down” expansion stories.
Yes, Dragonflight felt a little bit weak on its story direction but it was still good. Both DF and TWW remind me of earlier expansions when big threats weren’t all cosmic apocalypse level events.
It’s nice to take a breather from the constant world ending scenarios every 2 years!
If you think it’s toxic of me to point out your hypocrisy, be my guest.
I’m not dooming about a feature which we know next to nothing about.
I don’t really care if you read my other response or not, just goes to show that you don’t really care for this forum except let others know your feelings while disregarding everyone else in the thread.
Which you consistently do across multiple threads. Pointing that out isn’t really toxic, but sure buddy
