We got Dwarves in the Horde before Ogres

Just think about that for a second.

Thought about it, now what?
Can’t wait to race change my Hunter to an Earthen so he can resemble my ancient Dorf Hunter and first ever character <3

Although, Ogres SHOULD have been in the Horde already.

2 headed ogres like cho gall should be exclusive for married couples

i would need to make an multi box acount :frowning:

Ogres are dumb and smell bad.

Hence why they are so fun

Unfortunately that ship sailed a long time ago. To expect something like this immersive true the the core of the Warcraft universe is a fool’s hope. The message doesn’t allow it.

True, how silly of me

The problem with Ogres is that it’s nigh-impossible to fit armour on them, if you think texture stretching looks bad on male Pandaren (Or shoulder armour scaling), multiply that by three for Ogres.

Earthen were at least in the size/proportion range of existing playable races, so while a rather boring choice, they’re more practical.

They made a ground up new model for Earthen that looks nothing like those from Northrend or Uldaman. They can do it again with the Ogres to make it work.

Wait aren’t ogres mortal ennemies of the orcs? Except for that lantresor dude.
At least on the WoD short stories they appear as nemesis rather than potential allies. And since everything before grom rejects the blood of Mannoroth is the same as our normal timeline, I’m not sure how they would fit the horde.
Genuine question I might have missed some big piece of lore.

The problem i pointed out isn’t about old models vs new ones, it’s about Ogres being bloody massive, and applying “One size sort of fits all” chest armour textures (Which are designed for Humans and Elves) over that will cause some downright hideous texture stretching.

You can already see it on male Pandaren, but Ogres are bigger (I doubt people want to play small Ogres), so the effect would be even more obvious.

Just make “short” ogres the size of kultirans, problem solved.

And they are perfect!

The ogres in Dustwallow marsh is under the horde with Rexxar technically being their boss (WC3 orc campaign).

That faction of ogres are also in the smaller sizes. Make them about the same height as the male tauren hunchback.

Also not that player sizes matter seeing how freaking ridiculous they made the damn Kul’Tirans.
Old large human vs new.

Humans… staring tauren in the face.

That’s not a real Problem.

Oh right I forgot about the stonemaul chapter in the campaign. Thanks I can see it fit now.
Also I don’t remember the blades edge mok’nathal questline too much, do rexxar and his father reunite in the end?
Edit : nvm I’ll just search on the web instead of bothering you.
