What? Fast meta = low skill big luck factor fueled by unpredictable crits and procs, little margin for tactical play…

Do you realise that games are won by pure raw damage, and you speaking about tactic, people die before they can even press bubble button.

I never said i not do mistakes, but problem is that some DPS mistakes are AUTOMATIC lose mistake, mistakes without chance of salvaging.

Examples:
Guy use defensive for nothing and open himself as legit target = automatic lose
Guy not use defensives at all = automatic lose
Guy uses his damage mitigation when he has 2% hp left = automatic lose
Guy decide to go around pillar and not use defensives there = automatic lose

Psyhologicaly as healer:
-If we have all defensive cooldowns spended,and all my healing cooldown are spended I consider this game as outplay, admit lose, shake hand to enemy, they are better I have 0 problems with it. As you say there is always someone better and thats how things are

-If i see we are wining game, than my mate use defensive for nothing or not use at all, and litteraly die like p00p with all his defensives aviable, I consider this a throw, and my brain melts afterwards, because im geting punished as healer for that circus.

Exactly DPS rating is bloated, something put them to the place they no not belong, for me its science fiction that 2k ratted player can die like p00p with all his defensives aviable. This player shoud never be able to leave 1600 area. But he leaves because game is fast paced where those low skill crits and procs counts more than any form of tactical play. For what he woud need tactic and brain usage when he can 123 someone in 3 globals. Good pinpoint bro. He even got one button feature to help him if 123 is to much for him.

Why do you want the game to be slower if it takes more skill then wouldn’t that mean it would make it harder for you to play and climb rating? Why have you not climbed rating faster now seen as tho skill matters less?

People die without pressing bubble because a slower meta is more forgiving and they climbed when it was easier to play when they have 3-4 globals to react to something that a weak aura can tell you to do instantly.

Exactly my point you think the game should revolve only around dampening and people should not die if a cd is still unused while in the past it was perfectly normal to die if you have all cds and just waste a trinket which even now is on a 90 second cd.

Slower meta pace is not forgiving it just require people to use brain and some setups, some tricks, it require people to outplay someone before kill… Fast meta is 123 like monkey and pray for proc and crit gods.

-Fast pace = low skill, big luck factor due crits and procs (no one respect those wins), reason why AWC lost respect and popularity
-Medium pace = sweetspot (this is where game needs to be)
-Slow pace = high skill, but boring since games last unreasonable long

Than explain how some DPS players sits on 2k mmr yet dies like p00p with all defensive aviable? And why each game is resolved around that player ! All this will be fine if this happen on 1600 but guy is 2k how and what put him there?

the only class that needs tuning is Ret pala

its crazy on the dps charts its around 60% of the overall class popularity for dps in pvp

Low player base past season mmr you could go on 2k shuffle is just not the same as 2k arena it’s more like 1600.

The problem is you are not a good player yourself but expect to play with good dps players if you actually improve and climb you will play with people who actually press cds ofc people will always throw but it gets better the higher you go if you just sit there and complain you won’t ever climb.

You also mistake game knowledge with mechanical skill yes in a slow meta game knowledge and staying focused for longer times matters more but in fast metas you are rewarded for been mechanically better the only problem is most classes have been homogenised and everything is micro cc and damage rotations are simple to do there is no downtime.

So the problems you are having is not it been a fast meta it’s that all classes have 2-3 damage cds or random procs which they will still have in a slower meta just people get killed in dampening instead of the opener it becomes easier to survive which lowers the skill.

i have 4set and fury is meh unless u play ret war pres that make up for being squishy good dmg but takes the dam a lot and dies through wall

We should just strip all dps from being able to press defensives on their own.

Make the healer in control of them.

I had a shuffle just now where there were 2 retris, both of them wasting divine shield and loh by overlapping my CDs and then dying when they had nothing left because they used it after I used my CDs instead of saving it.

Give healers more agency instead of having to hope people press something or hoping people don’t overlap defensives with your CDs.

This is actualy not bad idea as feature of PvP trinket you can trigger clone of your mate defensive cooldown for 1sec so he know you want him to use.

For that I got warrning ping macro with sentence “Use Defensives, they gonna kill you”, most of time people not realise, but some guys said i saved their skin by that macro and wanted to gief them a macro.

It is not fun when your teammates do crap like that but it is what it is.
I can’t force healers to learn that they need to keep in mind that one of defensives of warlock is port and you as the healer need be in reach of port unless your team doesn’t aggressively push. I died many times because healers ran in the opposite direction of port or gates, refused to use gates and etc, I wish I could control my healers just as I control my felguard… but it can’t be done.

He knows the best and picks up his samples from a quite high rated environment (2k-2.2 zolo shuf). It has nothing to do with the fact he’s been on that mmr eversince shuffle got introduced and definitely is not carrying this mmr from season to season just to end up the same place with 3000 games.

No, they need to change how healers rating is affected when people do stupid things like that. Give us the control over when people get defensives or stop punishing us when they don’t use them or overlap them after we’ve already used CDs.

I’ve had 4 games today out of 5 games played where a retri divine shields when they don’t need to and then they die because they don’t have it for when they need it, because they overlapped it with healer CDs.

-60 mmr and I haven’t even gone less than 3 wins in any game and the retris have gone 0-6. It’s absolutely insane how they can just let these people continue ruining games for healers like that.

No, you’re playing with a holy priest that has guardian spirit on you. I’m not gonna send serenity on you when you’re at 80% hp just because you get nervous being at 30% with guardian spirit on you. Nor do I appreciate when they use lay on hands when I’m not in CC and they press it just as I swap.

Im canceling my sub till they make decent pvp adjustments, i feel like im paying money just to be mad, and im not crazy enough to do that only to bang my head against the same fotm classes every single shuffle.
