We need a corruption vendor

And this guy would disagree with you. You know bad thing about playersfeedback is that players have no clue what they want. They only think what they want. But if you would put everything what players asked into the game your game would instanly die.

Stop throwing the excuse of but muh RPG. There’s enough randomness in the game, everytime they add more and more elements to gearing that are incredibly powerful, it stops being fun when your friend is doing more dmg or you’re losing an arena or w/e because of RNG.

There’s just too much RNG in game atm and vendors can help with that.

This isn’t fun for anybody.

In their infinite wisdom they believe the plebs will keep pulling that arm to roll the slots. And they do, due to compulsion with the ol’ carrot on a stick that there’ll be something better.

It’ll keep them around longer.

As a collector I am absolutely guilty of this going after things that have a 1-3% drop chance from those stupid paragon caches.

People are asking for old systems back that used to be in the game at times where the game was way more successful than it is now. Your comment is pretty ridiculous

I personally am against a corruption vendor.

What if players get confused and can’t find him or her? That’d be an unfair advantage to players who are able to find the vendor.

Clearly, it’s not feasible to implement such a thing.

It really isnt becouse Blizzard those system do not consider sucesfull.

You know in gaming you can actuly like something but at same time get bored becouse of it. And thats becouse players have no clue how different systems impacts their feelins towards game. When people stop being excited about raid drops they think its becouse raid is boring or bosses are boring when in fact its becouse of this determinestic systems what tells you exacly when you get what. But they dont know that problem is in completly different part of game. That they are getting bored becouse of vendors and not actualy becouse of raid itself.

It same with flying. People always think how flying is awesome etc… But its actualy one of the reasons why game is so boring. But they dont know it they just blame it on boring content. Players do not understand game systems like at all.

I’m a collector too, I have a ton of 1% mounts, rare pets and toys, and w/e. I don’t mind that RNG because it’s all cosmetics and none of those have a direct impact on gameplay.

However, gearing is another thing and we already have enough RNG with personal loot and boss drops. Adding other layers on top of that is just too much, why are people defending this?

What players do know is what they don’t want. If you have no fun, you don’t want it. If you log onto a game and feel annoyed, bored, or frustrated every time, the design is not fine and your players will move on.

WotLK had badge gear and PvP vendors. The game had many times more players than it has now, so having a deterministic gear acquisition system does not have a negative impact on subscription numbers.

It all depends on the proper balance between deterministic systems and RNG. Yes, RNG does add excitement and hook the dopamine system of the brain, and the game always did have RNG (drop chance). But too much RNG, and layers of RNG, kills excitement because it causes exhaustion.

I could work on alts and not feel forced into choosing a main.

other than that I kind of agree with your post, a way to counter RNG and anti-rng systems would be nice, but there is still tons of sources for corruptions and if you put enough effort you’ll probably get what you want.

Totally my mindset here.

People be crying for twilight / infinite stars and such and I’m here like fishing for mastery / versa / crit / haste multipliers

But… Guardian Druid Mastery makes Echoing Void and Twilight Devastation even better! So my recommendation would be: Stack all of them until you’re at the point where you receive 100% less healing. Then it can’t get any worse so you can continue to stack it even further!

Exactly, tbh it would been alot more fun if it was just the stat increasing ones and not inf stars n stuff destroying everything in your path

Anything that tones down the RNG in this game would be welcome. Seeing we have a bit too much of that.

On a side note: Shouldn’t we have had an Expulsom vendor by now? My character with 300+ and no use for them would have liked that.
