If you don’t select need or greed in 10 seconds, you lose the chance at getting the loot.
Too much trolling happening in lfr, something needs to be done.

No, but incase people have bad ping or their game client crashes they have a chance to log back in and still roll.
What does 60 seconds make a difference for your idea?

I remember back in mop there used to be a timer, but I don’t remember how much time there was on rolling.

10 seconds is way too short. I actually take time to consider whether I’m really going to use the item before clicking need. If I only had 10 seconds, I’d just click need.

I think it’s fine. If you are itching to leave or join another raid then do it, you get your item mailed to you if you won.
Just click need/greed and move on, you’ll get stuff in your mailbox if you have to go to a new LFR wing.
30/40 seconds is enough.
If you don’t know what you should greed or need in 30 seconds, then you probably shouldn’t roll either way, because you clearly don’t know how to read. Or you don’t know what to roll for.
Apparently you should get the item mailed to you in case you win, but i don’t really want to test that.
