I’m having to work my absolute b’llocks off to get anywhere near other meta, top tier classes when I’m a higher Ilvl and score (m+ in 12’s).
I know how to play my class and at this point pretty sure I’m doing it well after many years of playing warrior. It really does still just feel like any semi-decent Pala, FDK or other meta spec etc. at my level is just able to outperform us with ease without even having to really break a sweat.
Our damage is worse. Our utility is worse. We don’t offer CR, Lust or any other useful niche like a decurse etc. We have rally, woah, which you nerfed into the ground.
Make our damage ACTUALLY be a reason people want to take us because we have no other big benefit. As it stands, there’s no reason why on a level playing field score and ilvl wise anyone would contemplate picking a warrior over at least 4/5 other classes. I wouldn’t and I’ve mained the class for 20 years!
If you refuse to give people a genuine reason to want to take us, with some kind of massive benefit like lust, you have to make our damage equally competitive to whatever the current meta specs are. Not behind it. Even if we were on par damage wise with meta classes they’d still have a benefit over us with the way you’ve designed our class but at least we’d be far more competitive.
Look at the MDI, very rarely are we in it (in a serious manner), look at the weekly m+ stats that show us as a C-tier class or at best as I can remember A-tier now and then if you’re being favourable (never seen us be S-tier). Look at the amount of groups saying “fdk, rogue, pala, aug” etc. You ever seen one saying “fury”? I haven’t and I’ve probably applied to thousands of keys this season by now let alone previous seasons where that didn’t happen either.
Fix the class. Take it seriously. We’re just a constant meme / joke or as we like to say in the warrior discord “fine”.
