We need Fel glyph effects and new totems!

Now that we are getting new corrupted Draenei barber options, I thought it would be nice to bring up the posibility for new Shaman customizations in general.

Druids have gotten A LOT of love lately, with barber option changes, and new flight forms… But besides 2 new wolf forms, Shamans have kind of been left on the dark.

Some of the older/original races, still have old outdated looking totems, and it would be nice to get some updated versions. With the option of keeping the original totems through glyphs of course, since Classic andies should have the option of keeping the original look if they want.

Totems are constantly being used by Shamans, so I think it’s important they look up to date, and not as if they were ripped directly from Classic.

Also,

New elemental glyph effects for our elementals please. Currently we mainly have glyphs for shrinking our pets… But not to customize them in the same way as mages do theirs.

Shamans communicate with elementals… ALL of them… So it wouldn’t be far off to be able to communicate with Fel elementals too, and have them as glyph options for replacing the fire one. Would look REEEALLY good on the new Draenei Fel/evil barber options, to play as a Fel Draenei.

If we’re going for some sort of evil/corrupt shaman aesthetic as an in game cosmetic, I wouldn’t want it to be yet another demon-themed class. Rather, I’d have them draw inspiration from the Kor’kron Dark Shaman fight from Siege of Orgrimmar.

Basically, reskin the elemental abilities to match their visuals more closely. Make fire more ashy and smoky. Make water effects look muddy and polluted. Add toxic smoke effects to air abilities. That way, you’d have ‘dark’ shaman abilities, without making us look like knockoff warlocks.

I’d personally not use these customization options, but more options to make our characters look distinct are always welcome.
