There are way too many People on every map. We need either less peope per map in generell or more layer to choose from. Also, why cant we just get a button to switch between layers? The addon solution works but it cant be too difiicult to give us a simple button.

The Op is absolutely correct.
The zones are consistently unplayable as intended because of overcrowding.
IT is not supposed to take 1+ hour to farm 10 items from mobs that spawn fast… simply because theres like 15+ alli players and a few horde players trying to those few mobs in an area the size of a finger nail. It doesnt matter if the spawn rate is high if theres just too many ppl.
IT drives ppl crazy.
1000% correct, The servers dont seem to be very dynamic in their capacity and in spinning up new layers etc to accommodate the population.
It is amazing to see the game so active. But they really really need to add more layers and spread that population to decrease the frustration of normal simple farm quest like “collect ten bear livers” taking in excess of 1 hour.
It is becoming common for a lot of ppl to simply log off and say “ill come back at 2 am to try to finish this 1 quest!”.
And it doesnt matter if you go to another zone because its across almost every zone.
IT IS GAME BREAKING.
I am loving anniversary. But this… this is a real issue. It is adding an enormous amount of frustration to what is mostly otherwise excellent experience, even if the server crashes are way too common… thats to be expected… server crashes were common in classic…
But this issue…is very very toxic. And very fixable. Simply spin up more servers when the population is high to add into layers. I imagine they already have implemented dynamic resources for the back end… but clearly they need to like double that dynamic capacity at peak population times.
We’ve had so many classic launches already.. and people are still not crazy
… and we need faster respawn times. How fun is it waiting for a mob with 5 minutes respawn time together with 25 other people? :-/
The respawn rate seems to be much slower this time. This would help for now, if they would increase this for mobs and resources. Even during the night maps are so crowded that you cant find any resources. I hope they address this! I want a good leveling experience in tbc and if it stays like this, it will be a nightmare. Most people will grind dungeons if the maps are too crowded and the respawn rate is bad and I don’t think that’s in anyone’s interests.
More layers are the LAST thing we need, it’s the worst thing ever happening to wow by far, more servers is the answer.
It seems the number of layers are hardcapped at 10 - at least I never saw anything higher.
Yesterday evening I sat in a log-on queue (a thing they promised would NOT happen agaain with the new, dynamic server structure), there was only ten layers, and each of them had a population of at least 125000 players.
We need more servers!
At this point it doesnt matter how they fix it. Its unplayable with the amount of layer we have. We are paying 13 euros for a 20 year old game and we dont even get propper server….
Should just implement faster spawnrates for nodes/npcs. Ie dynamic spawns, which they used to have. Don’t necessarily need more layers. But yeah, it’s either more layers or dynamic spawning, especially during the release of Outlands.

Wierd, played wow for 22yrs, and NEVER had this problem 
go play retail or other single-player games if you don’t want community to be a thing in a damn MMO.
I tried to do some quests in stranglethorn yesterday its unplayable! To many people! I pay money every month for this! Add a server or more layers so we can properly play on the anniversary server!
