So no real change for you at all, but for people who have been on the receiving end of bigotry the change can feel pretty big 
No one is attempting to remove male and female anywhere, it’s all about including more. Trust me, as a cis person, you’re not going to be harmed by this.

Probably been mentioned already, but I’m gonna mention it again just in case.
Custom pronouns are coming to Retail and Classic as part of the Gender → Body Type update.
A more interesting change is currently not implemented on the Dragonflight Alpha, but datamined strings indicate that players may at some point be given the option to choose their preferred pronouns - selecting between he/him, she/her, or them/they.
We just need to wait for Blizzard to backport the dragonflight client core to Classic.

No one is forcing anything on you. You’re not forced to change your gender, nor pronouns, nor the way you look, nor the way you identify. You, as well as others, are simply being given the choice to identify however you want.
If you want to identify as a man or woman, no one is stopping you.
The beginning of humanity also believed that fire was voodoo magic gifted by the gods.
I think we’ve moved beyond raising primordial humans up as some kind of beacon of truth.
I could say the same thing about your desire to take away rights from others just to please your own ego.

For the people who are still in doubt on this whole issue and what’s the deal around this whole business, i’d advise you the following.
Watch the documentary “What is a woman?” by Matt Walsh.
Look up Dr. Jordan Peterson on Youtube concerning these issues, you will find a whole world of open sighted information.
And ofcourse typically enough the kind of rhetoric they use and how they they try to blot people out just by screaming and threatening, not by engaging in dialog.
And last but not least, i wouldn’t expect anything less from them if they flag this post as well, because afterall that is what they do.
