We need PvP servers!

Pandaria is one of the best additions for WPvP. Timeless Island, PvP daily quests, Thunder Island, fights next to PvP vendors, skirmishes in the open world, and eventually attacks on sanctuaries and cities—Blizzard robbed us of all that. WPvP has always flourished on Flamegor RU. A lot of players have lost interest in the game at the moment. You can write that no one needs WPvP by referring to statistics, but these statistics do not reflect reality. If no one needed it, there wouldn’t be so many topics about what WPvP players need. We really need a PvP server. I’m getting discouraged; World of Warcraft is my favorite game and universe, and for me, as for many other players, the clash of factions in the open world is a big part of this game.

Turning PvP/PvE mode on/off is just too stupid and doesn’t work. On our server Flamegor RU, there are enough WPvP guilds specializing specifically in open-world battles.

When you turn on PvP mode, you expose yourself to attacks from those who can strike from stealth directly from PvE mode—this just gives free rein to gankers, and you always feel like a victim, yet we still do it (play with PvP mode enabled). When I talk about WPvP, I mean tactics in the open world, battles that start from 3v3 and turn into 40v40, fights over points of interest. PvP mode turns off with any teleport, turning it on every time is inconvenient, people forget about it, and WPvP disappears. No one wants to expose themselves to attacks, and besides, there’s hardly anyone left, as almost all WPvP guilds have already gone to private servers.

There’s no way to provoke a conflict or be provoked—for example, dailies in the Krasarang Wilds, where the opposing faction in PvE mode captures points of interest, and you can’t do anything about it; you can’t defend yourself or protect your vendors.

From our latest open-world fights, you can check out the YouTube channel “Whats Your Fervor.” I’m bringing this up as an example of what WPvP means to us https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vcoKGa-XJ4 . Or the battle is more than 80х80 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Chr6NQtE8U ,(Is this similar to the ganking of low-level characters that you all talk about at the sight of the word WPvP?),

WPvP is another direction in the game that you most likely know nothing about when you write comments like “no one needs this,” “just turn on PvP mode,” and similar. We also have our own meta classes, our own raid leaders, our own statics, just like you do in PvE, arena, or RBG.

PvE mode doesn’t give us the opportunity to provoke the enemy or be provoked. You might say, you can negotiate fights with the opponent. But for us, it’s more than just using abilities on a target. For us, it has an idea and meaning; we live for it. Victory in a competition with no restrictions or rules like in BGs is important to us. And negotiating with the enemy you’re at war with = showing weakness. The PvE mode has made our guilds inactive; we’re simply not needed and discarded. Because there’s no one to defend our capitals from, help our PvE guilds get to raids without getting killed at the entrance (I’m giving this as an example of some of our activities). Yes, that’s our interest, and many people have been playing or have played this way for over 10 years. We already have difficulties with phases; we can’t always gather even a small group, like 20 people in one phase, to stand against the opponent, and we have to use various methods for different raid members to get into the right phase—we’ve come to terms with it and learned to play with it.

PvE mode on the server is the final nail in the coffin for WPvP and the entire WPvP community. That’s why threads are being created on the forum, new posts appear on Twitter and various internet resources, but Blizzard just stays silent or quietly waits for us all to leave our beloved game. That’s why we’re asking to GIVE US A CHOICE in the form of a PvP server.

Will we be able to get any information from Blizzard?

If people wanted true WPVP every PVP realm wouldn’t have been 99% of one faction.

You can still have fun on Timeless Isle with the toy that makes you hostile to everyone.

That is not true. The problem is people only like winning and when losing gets out of hand they snap like a little child. Thus, it’s important for blizzard to intervene and keep faction balance in check like they did in SOD and on anniversary.

No, in fact you can’t because you only can attack the own faction when these players have pvp mode activated. It doesn’t work on pve servers. Only if they attack you and this most of the time will only happen when they are pretty certain they will win the fight (aka 5v1 on a pve server^^)

Just let it go,that train long time gone. They could dothat for TBC realms.

On Flamegor RU, WPvP has always existed. Blizzard simply didn’t give us a choice. We had a large outdoor community that participated in open-world PvP. You might say the community made the choice itself: 25% Alliance and 75% Horde. Yes, that’s true, but players on our server specifically choose to play Alliance (25%) to get more WPvP content.

So why was it necessary to turn our server into a PvE mode? It simply destroyed several major guilds and forced players to leave for other projects or servers. It completely destroyed our large community. It’s nonsense to leave us without a choice!!!

Considering the fact that two large European servers, Firemaw and Gehennas, were converted into a small PvE server, creating a lot of problems for people with nicknames and guild names, I think there are no adequate developers there; they are staffed by left-wing activists who were recruited through quotas.

The only way they will listen to EU feedback is if you stop paying. They don’t read these forums, if they did we would have a pvp server.

I got into MoP because my friends hyped up the pvp. Playing first time wow since Cata back in the day and now we have phase two of MoP literally going to waste because of the server merge and EU not getting a PVP server.

What is the point of capturable objects between factions on the map if there is no pvp? 3 Rare elite spawns that spawn literally in the enemy base with an achievement “I’m in your base, killing your dudes” (or something like that) and now we can’t defend the rares? Oh yeah did I forget to mention they drop crazy pvp trinkets that work only in Pandaria?? Landfall screaming wpvp fun madness and now we are having none of it…

Also ques for normal battlegrounds are horrible at least when playing solo. I got my alt to 90 today and longest wait time was 40+ minutes??

I don’t understand why can’t have pvp server if USA can…

my subscribe ending 29th and i will start playing session games again because im tired of seeing zero attitude towards pvp content year after year.

2s\3s are simply unplayable due to the number of piloted boosts, people with 2800 go to their alts just to not let regular players above 2.4+

Also in 2s/3s there are 3 playable classes and setups. You only see hunters, mw/arms, mage\healer in 2s and warriors/elems\ MW OFCOURCE in 3s.

in session games developers at least pretend to have a meta and change it every couple of months. GJ you managed to fail as everyone says “THE BEST ADDON OF ALL TIME”.

Well, the last straw is the lack of soloq, which players have been asking for since the cataclysm. (yes just imagine, i dont have mates and friends in the game who want to improve their playing skills on a regular basis) In LFG there are only x20 gladiators, sitting at 2k rating and leaving the game after 1 defeat. So without a soloq game is unplayable for average players and this is felt more strongly than even in WOTLK/Cata

ggs see you soon in a parallel universe where decisions are made by developers, not by guys in jackets :v:

The Toxic PvP crowd has finally been stopped.

Thank you blizzard.

Never cave to the abusers again, they need to be gone

If i do not want to have conflict, i do not choose it. Why did you choose a former PVP server?

I did not.

I am also proposing that there should be at least 1 EU PVP Server.

Well, we still don’t see any information from Blizzard on any of the topics, neither on the forum, nor on Twitter, nor on Reddit. The question about PvP servers or fresh PvP servers for EU remains open. After all of Blizzard’s recent actions, the online population in the game is dropping, and this is visible not from some internet resources, but from the queues for BGs, dungeons, or simply looking for people in chat. After converting all servers to PvE, the open world feels maximally empty, with no spirit of encounters—you just do routine work and go AFK in the sanctuary of your standard activities like PvE or RBG. After not-long preparations of the character for various activities, like reputations, transmog farming, and kissing squirrels, playing on a PvE server turns from an MMORPG into a session-based game. I understand that for each person, the interest in the game is represented by different activities, and someone wants to come after work, do dailies, and raid once a week, but for a huge number of people, the game represents the social component, where the open world in different aspects brings surprises like, for example, the same WPvP. Once again, I ask Blizzard to hear us and reconsider the decision to convert all EU servers to PvE mode. Or give us a choice of a fresh PvP server with the possibility of character transfer!!!

I saw one video on reddit from on US realm that was pvp and faction balanced, they did some 50v50 in the barrens, was fun to watch. But anyway realistically wpvp is dead the moment you can fly anywhere.

I enjoyed wpvp in wotlk but since cata you can fly in the old world too so the only wpvp to exist from cata onwards would be while leveling in a 50/50 pvp populated realm.

You can enable pvp on your character icon. If there is enough people who want to world pvp you will have enough community to attack each other. This way also only the people who enjoy it are included so you can enjoy the company of like-minded people.

Unless everyone prefers to not be ganked during doing dailies… I have seen like 4 opposing faction players with pvp enabled which almost suggests that maybe, just maybe, world pvp isn’t really what most people prefer if they are given the option.
