Yeah i just asked my buddie. I am lvl 64 atm. only ever played horde. I would never want to play ally. I just dont like the faction. I only want to pvp. but casual. I love bg’s and i do some arena aswel and now you till me they have 1 hour Q?? I went from hyped to not wanting the play the game so fast. I am quitting now and my friend will keep me up to date if que times change. It makes me sad but i have nothing to do in tbc without bg’s.

But I agree that free faction change is a good idea… I don’t understand why you ask people to reroll but don’t level a new character on an alliance dominated realm? Practice what you preach on your bis race priest.

There is no English Allience dominated PvP realm with any decent population anymore.
Don’t tell me ironforge pro Warcraft raid Data is accurate data for faction balance as you and I both know that most hardcore PvP players do not participate in pve raids and that the largest population has not even reached 70. Even if there was 1 server that was Allience PvPer dominated it’s not a balanced server and what about the players on all the other servers?
Absolutely not true, I played both as horde and alliance in WOTLK for quite some time on the “top level” (back then at least). Alliance was definitely more popular, but not remotely as popular as you’d saying.
Maybe thats because ppl in 2008 (wotlk) still lived in caves, if you check the worlds largest pserver ladder today you will see 95% alliance teams.
In pve wotlk horde racials are still better troll and orc but PvP was completely Allience dominated I saw tons of people that came over from horde for PvP
I could not care about pservers one bit, your point is void. There was at least 50 times larger population of players in original WOTLK than there was on all private servers combined.
Are you saying that you are basing all of this discussion such as “should have known better” etc based on private server data? If that is the case do you realize that classic players have the least players from private servers?
I didnt even read the whole discussion because im busy enjoying my insta qs, i just overread that youre talking about racials in wotlk thats why i told you that every single ambitious pvper will reroll to human, just like they are doing on the pserver i mentioned (which btw is bigger than a single well populated blizzard server, just so you know im not talking about 100 ppl).

That’s exactly what I’m trying to say I see the problem of horde queues but that’s a faction balance problem not a queue problem. Merc mode does not fix that if you can’t see the problem of having majority of the PvP population being horde then implement Merc mode as a fix you don’t see the damage you cause to the rest of the game
Mercenary mode literally DOES fix the queue problem though!
Why deny a solution to a problem because it does not solve ALL the problems.
I’m not going to say no to a solution to world hunger just because it doesn’t also solve world peace at the same time!
Have mercenary mode for BG’s only as horde and for world PVP as alliance. The war would be out of warcraft but atleast we can all get along.

But those 2 problems are connected, in world hunger scenario this would be like forcing the almost starving african village to give all its wheat to germans because they suddenly run out of all, they would still have other food but they would demand wheat for their bread
