We desperately need to talk about Chromie time. More specifically; instances.
Hear me out. I’ve been levelling through Chromie time for the heritage armor sets. That means I have to make a new character, and level it to 50. Yes. I have done this with almost all races, alliance and horde, and let me tell you - I am SICK and TIRED of Slave Pens, Underbog, Ramparts and Furnace. I have mostly been using Burning Crusade, because I like the expansion a lot, next to WotLK and MoP. There are unfortunately not as many in WotLK and MoP, so queuing for instances takes considerably longer for those two expansions. But. The problem is the same.
For some reason, we are not allowed to do all instances from level 10. No, we have to gain some experience (or “sense of pride and accomplishment”, anyone??) before we are allowed to do any other instances. This means; whenever someone in your party is below level 15, only the starter dungeons are eligible for your party!! And the chance of someone being under 15, is from my biased experience close to 200%! Guaranteed.
We have to suffer through the same, excruciatingly boring instances - over and over and over again. And then the low level leaves your group, only for a new one to fill its place, and your hope of ever seeing any of the other instances in Chromie time slowly fades away. This is your life now. Groundhog day. Rinse and repeat.
For the love of whatever you hold holy and dear; end my suffering. Please open up for more instances from level 10. I cannot fathom why we can’t play the other instances in the expansions. Not for the life of me.
