I’m not poor no. I don’t care for gold in a seasonal game. It’s meaningless, pointless and a complete waste of time. Time which I don’t have as I don’t play wow 24/7. I just don’t like people, or cretins more aptly, like you profiteering/exploiting a system for your own gain. A gain which is detrimental to everyone else. If you fail to see this then you will forever live a life of a cretin.
This speaks volumes. How sad.
Because you know your argument is wrong. But in any event good luck to you. I hope our paths never cross.
maybe, maybe not (we dont know the future of sod - at least servers will 100% stay, maybe without updates), but still in any addon of the classic line (till mop at least), all gold earned in previous addon is useless because of inflation. So in fact gold in sod is the same as in any other classic addon
It will, scarlet enclave will be the end. Roadmap for 25/26 clearly states this. Mop will take over.
And no gold is not the same in sod as there is no continuity. No expansion, no more content. Sod is finished come summer. So enjoy that gold while you can.
No, blizzard said they are not completely sure that enclave will be the end. You can find last bluepost. They said, earlier they thought that naxx will be the end but then they decided to do also a scarlet raid, and now they said that their plans can also change and they can make some additional content in future also
around 500 gold to level to 250 (to get refined deeprock salt, 300 is needed to make 3 hides of 1 salt but you can just sell salt on ah). You get 250g per salt once 3 days. So 500g in 6 days, and you get your gold back. ANd on 2 characters you will get 1k every 6 days.
For those not following the Phase 8 news, even that phase will require crafting items for Tier.
Cost:
Now get ahead of the phase launch, and stop complaining.
There’s info out there long before it goes live.
The most expensive items will be the craftables for Shaman, Hunter, Rogue and Druid, requiring Cured Rugged Hide.
So be prepared for prices to stay as they are with those, and prices to go up when it comes to Thorium and Bolt of Runecloth.
Don’t come around complaining that you can’t afford the BoE gear next phase, when you have 4-6 weeks at least to prepare.
All items also require Righteous Orb, so you can either pre-farm those in Strat/Kara now, or hope they drop a lot in P8.
The new zone and most likely the raid will drop orbs. I don’t they they will be the issue. It’ll be the other stuff like cured hides, runecloth, thorium etc that will be expensive
I’d prepare and find another game to play if that really is your intention. The trend so far, with a few exceptions, has been to throw away previous tier gear as soon as a new raid releases. And the new raid tier will have a new set, so… yeah.
It’s different. T3 compared to previous phases is beyond anything in terms of cost. While everything else also became really expensive. Throwing away T1, T2 and T2,5 didn’t really lose anything. T3 is extortionately expensive.
And so far blizz been on the ball to keep costs down but they clearly didn’t do enough this phase.
It’s not fun playing with these inflated costs when getting gold still costs quite a lot of time to aquire, no matter how easy time is time.
Still gotta get 2 T3 rings on my toons, that’s what 1,5k gold? And that’s not even talking OS or any of the other items.
Kinda dumb having to pass raid loot cuz you lack the funds. You did the raid, you earned it. Slap some enchants on them and go brrr
So many complaints, just go pre-naxx bis then and be happy. just cuz u got a token doesnt mean you’ve earned it. Considering how fast it is to obtain on top of that makes it okay with the prices. I say that having the most expensive ones, on main and two alts. Place drops around 80 items a week and people will still complain.
