Well rip then. There’s no chance Blizzard will open free transfers just as act of generosity. It can only be the case if they’ll end support cycle for whole russian translation of the game, shut down whole RU tab and open the transfers to “back-to-Shadowmoon” style, which is obviously not happening since russian localization is the only option for whole CIS playerbase (outside of european locales).
Can they merge their whole RU tab to connected state? Sure. Can they open free transfers to Gordunni and Howling Fjord so later they can leave two huge faction capitals and shut down other servers (which are mostly near to empty at this point already)? For sure.
But for now there’s no reason for them to open free transfers from RU to other european tabs. At all.
