Because 99% of people are decent people. 1% are trolls that will find any dumb excuse to pick a fight.

If you took it so personally as to quit healing… Dunno… The must have been other reasons. Be honest with yourself, or as i already said, atleast be honest with your statements to others.

Literally… most people don’t even notice if shaman “healer” is elemental
This person just to want to sit afk in dungeons, as he does not understand how the gameplay will be if healers would actually ONLY heal without being afk or doing damage

It was not as smart as you thought, honestly.

It’s true a healers dps doesn’t matter much, if at all, in keys under 12.
However it’s a completely different story once you go above that, and ESPECIALLY with monk and bear tanks.
Start pumping out numbers when you’ve a low dps tank class in your party, like damn.
I only run in PuGs, and have at minimum 3k RIO on all tanks expect this one (altho you might as well say I do).
Oracle Priests has been the overwhelming meta all throughout the season and those hardly put out numbers. Restos has also been popular and let’s be so fr; shaman barely make a dent themselves and Druids has to bend over backwards in PuGs with their hots to have time to do any respectable DPS.
So no. Healer dps isn’t even noticeable or needed in weekly/low keys. Nice try tho.

First of all tank dps is only noticable if you play in pug around keys like 10-11 and you know what you doing and dps does not.
Yesterday i did 2 dungeons in one DK literally did less dps them me overall and then a german player was toxic towards him and called him boosted and the other run was through Nop community and i did 2 something mil overall and hunter in that group had same dps.
Meanwhile first 2 dps were over 3 mil with 5 billion overall.
There is a very big difference between good dps players and worse.
You cannot make opinion about tanks being op if you play with average people

I honestly do not like mitigation as a tank. It was not like that pre WoD and tanks used to just have to position the boss at the correct places and taunt where needed and sometimes use some big cooldowns. Active mitigation is more busywork for the thing that was done automatically before
That’s funny considering Blizzard’s latest change to m+. Buffing monster hp by 14% means that meta comps will have highest dps tanks

That wasn’t my point at all. OP wants tanks to tank and they’ll have to pump damage in season 3.
