I love how some random thinks other people who are doing endgame content, care about their opinion. I mean, you’re level 62. I think I was 70 in 8 hours or so. This means you played for 1-3 hours and already conclude it sucks? That’s strange, even for a gnome.
Do you realize your opionion doesn’t make anything trash?
I’m curious to know what other mmos you’ve tried since you didn’t bother to play Shadowlands that doesn’t have typical mmo questing or typical mmo tab-targeting combat that also has modern graphics that aren’t at all stylised (if you even know what that means).
It’s also really funny that you think “Googlers” are going to find this thread and take any notice of your 85IQ opinion.
I dunno what you read but we sure did buy it from the money my friend won. about 100euro. She got bnet balance codes from the giveaway supplier. We did not buy it from gold to balance.
In terms of mmos, not much, the genre is dead. New World, really enjoyed that at the start. Played tons of other good games, like Valheim, GoW (real gems), and tons of others. Thing is, you are done in 200hours max which is what i miss from mmos. Basically any modern game has action combat, not boomer hotkey. It’s not so much the hotkey combat that bothers me, it’s the thought behind it.
Blizzard doesn’t innovate, doesn’t create new cool experience. It’s a dead company kept alive by candy crush and COD. I don’t know any1 who even tried OW2 for example. Than again it’s not on Steam so I assume tons of people just don’t notice it anyway.
I have still not bothered to continue on, I feel forced to try since the game time is running out and we also could’ve gotten 100euro Steam balance. Way better choice in hindsight but ye. Everyone was so positive about this we wanted to try it once more. Needless to say, never again. Never again a subscription or paying for an xpac. In fact, never again the battlenet launcher. Blizzard can meet me again on Steam when they’re desperate enough AND have created awesome experiences like in the past. Or they don’t and can be another dead xbox/microsoft studio that nobody cares for. So sad.
Anyway, looking at the recent retail wow numbers that day might be sooner than we all think. it seems dragonlands did convince anyone but the most dedicated of addicts.
First impressions matter. I refund games within 1-2 hours on Steam. Why does this game need special treatment? It’s boring. Nothing changed. No fun casual content like housing, just the same boring hamsterwheel I’ve done 10 times already to look forward to and pay every month for a pay2win hotkey mmo, no thanks.
I’m happy you like it tho. For me, I’ll wait for a reboot or Steam release + f2p. If it’s free i’ll try it, won’t feel pressure to play then as well.
The game gave 30 days free with the purchase of their latest xpac because it sold bad. It also gave 3 days for free to everyone unsubbed for x amount. So I got 33 days. It would be extremely weird if you cant buy xpacs from bnet balance, it would mean bnet is worthless, well, i kinda have to agree. Steam wallet would’ve been better.
No, you get 30 days with the purchase, back then. And if unsubbed there was a promotion for 3 free days, so 33 days. I know it’s hard to cope, but retail wow is not doing good, it hasn’t done good since wod. Sadly there are just enough addicts to keep the subscription +p2w token in place. but often sales or promotions occur for those not subbed. I get 3 free days about 4 times a year i’d say.
Glad to hear, we’re not. We would be happy if we could refund it but cant since we got codes that we won in the amount of 100euro, might be able to refund it to bnet balance, but bnet balance is well, worthless to us so might as well keep the game.
