I just played my hunter for the first time and its bars lit up like a slot machine, it was distracting as hell and it made me play worse.

Thanks! My eyes are literally sore from these new action buttons. They’re distracting and as such causing tons of unnecessary additional eye movement.
Just done 2 M+ dungeons and it feels like I’ve been playing Tetris for 2 hours.
It’s actually so bad. Much worse than I thought it looked like at first. Yech!

Why are they deliberately making the game worse? Making it up to the players to fix their messy hit (with s), we are all paying for this game.
I hate add ons.
I believe the game should be played pure.
However in BFA I relented and installed a world quest tracker and DBM and must admit they help.
But that was it. No more.
But this might have to be my 3rd.

I don’t personally have an issue with this particular update but it would be nicer for there to be a tick option to enable/disable the feature for those that don’t enjoy it or find it intrusive.
Thanks that helped tons. The new effects made me underperform majorly. Thinking my ability is ready to use but nope, it’s just that stupid flash effect finishing meaning my cast is finished.
I use elvui so nothings changed for me at all thankfully

I hate addons too, but many of them are helpful. For example I have 24 alts with 60+ lvl, and addon like Altoholic is necessary for me. I don’t have to search every single character to find one item. I have it all on my toolitp, or I can use a search bar. Addon like Auctionator, you can do a scan ah and see the price of the item on the tooltip. I wish they would one day impletent many addons just to the game, and get rid of all combat addons completely.

Yeah, arcane mages have also gotten some weird features where they want to make it feel as bad as possible to play arcane mage (Once again, ofc).
You’re being forced to pick Nether Tempest, actually forced, a spell I hate with a burning passion and will for the life of me never use it EVER. The arcane spec should not be a dot spec, also as a spell it just so fking lazy and boring and dosen’t go with the theme of being an arcane mage.
- Went on my Warlock and must admit now that you have it worse, why in the flying fk are they showing the cast timer on every single one of the spells we cast, we’ve had a freaking castbar since 2004, that’s 19 years with a castbar, noone asked for this ugly bs.
They fixed the random glow in the eye yet
