The drop rate is the same as the drop rate for any other gear piece, but there are less weapons in the dungeon pool compared to other items.
On the raid side, it’s just RNG, but there are other factors affecting the dungeon-side of it. There are 3 ranged weapons in the dungeon pool. Every other slot except the necklace has at least 4 items in the dungeon pool.
Specific for M0, no ranged weapon drops from a dungeon final boss either, which lowers the # of chances to get a weapon from M0 slightly. In addition to this, again specifically for M0, boss loot tables aren’t balanced; using De Other Side as an example, our weapon comes from Dealer who has a loot pool of 4 items as MM/BM which means we have a 1/4 chance of the bow after we’ve been chosen for the loot - the Manastorms and Hakkar both only drop a single item for Hunters. It’s unbalanced and pretty frustrating, and I bet pretty intentional too.
Well, if you play SV, or any other 2H class/spec, you can “easily” get Sorrowbane which is a 180ilvl weapon. Can also be obtained by a fresh 60 which is quite a nice boost.
True, but it’s still good nonetheless, gives haste and versatility, the passive is nice too.
The only issue is the strenght, but from a 150ilvl to a 180ilvl I’d still take it.
