Weapon enchants

Is there any reason to chose the Enchant Weapon (x) Writ version over the epic Devotion variant ?

So there isn’t different proc rates or anything to note ?

If you haven’t got much gold then you go for cheaper enchants, or if it’s an item you’re going to replace soon.

If it’s a good weapon you go for the better enchants.

You can sim the difference if you want to see the numbers.

I have looked for this information myself and found nothing.

But generally I think it is a Cost thing. Writs use less mats so cost less to make. I think this was partially Blizzard attempt to counter the lower cost of lower rank Devotion Enchants. this ofcourse ended the day they buffed Titan Orb drop rates.

All I know is that Writs made me 20m in one week back in December. Since then I have probably only made half that on Devotions.

This is the solution. But please let us know the results.

I’m at a loss to understand you
You purposely antagonize me in subtle ways with one clear objective - to flag my posts
Then come into my thread to offer help as if nothing has happened?
It’s an obvious wind up at this point

Your curiousity got the better of you in the other thread and you asked me why I ignore you
The reason is : I find you incredibly manipulative and sneaky

No doubt this will give you great satisfaction
Make the most of it

There was nothing antagonising in that post.

If you took it that way then the 'ol ā€˜living rent free in your head’ meme is apt.

You do you though, i’ll just put some tinfoil on the ah.

It wasn’t for you Deja but no worries
I’ll waddle my way to the AH to buy your tinfoil hat

Sometimes , we do not need to make comments when we aren’t addressed or involved in something, particularly in cases where it is evidently between two people

you don’t overly complain if Starbucks mess your order up do you?

You go and have a splendid day now :coffee:

Writs are different from devotions (mostly) , because they give secondary stats .
Burning Writ gives critical strike
while
Burning Devotion gives a chance to proc a heal .

Very few writs are actually the same as devotions just with less stats (aka Sophic Writ)

You buy writs if you want specific stats , or of you want to save money .

And likewise i dont need your permission or consent to butt in.

Or are you subtly trying to antagonise me by dictating where and where i am not welcome to stick my nose in the hope you can flag my posts?

I do… makes my day complete.

I can often be found in Starbucks angrily grabbing some young pup by their collar and pulling them towards me while I angrily growl at them ā€œwhy is there no chocolate shavings in my cappuccino!ā€ in an ever increasing voice.

Their protestations of ā€œbut you didn’t order a cappuccinoā€¦ā€ just make it worse.

And I consider chocolate shavings to be an enchantment so this post is relevant.

You do not , no
But a little bit of critical thinking and foresight wouldn’t have gone a miss here
It is also reasonable to say it is incredibly impolite

But as you said, you do you

What are you on about? I just put my input into threads.

I saw a topic I knew alot about as I have Maxed out all my Enchanting talent trees. And I happen to have made alot of Gold this expansion through selling Writ and Devotion enchants (sorry for the flex, but I’m just trying to point out that I have a little knowledge here).

Now someone coming into this thread might be looking for some useful information, and hey I’m here to provide that for them.

If you find that antagonising, then that’s on you. I’m here to discuss WoW and what I like/dislike about the game. This happens to be a topic I like.

Yes.

Stop being so antagonistic.
