So I had quit right after BfA launch and recently came back to the game. While I was away I played a lot of different games just to kill some time while taking a rest from WoW. Right now I am playing a lot of classes at the same time and have come into a conclusion that forcing a class to use a certain type of weapon is extremely discouraging. 2h frost DK, DW 1h fury warrior, DW 1h BM monk, 2h shamman, DW paladin are few examples of things that could have been “cool” but are nowhere to bee seen and unlikely to be seen in the future.
Acording to the race>class>race>class concept of WoW expansions we are going to see a next class in the upcomming one. This is purely personal opinion but I would love to see complete class overhaul rather than having yet another class that will be forced to use a certain type of weapon.
Some may say that this would cause balance issues while in fact it is not that hard to balance weapons therefore forcing classes to use certain type of weapons is just lazy balance management. I have left WoW for few months and it feels like not a lot of things has changed and the concept have remained the same. Blizzard releases faulty expansion, faults are being fixed very slowly giving the feel that almost nothing is changing and people are “happy” because faulty annoying features are being fixed but the fundament issues of the game remain the same. What do you think guys?
