Yeah because you only need 1 piece of chest armor for all specs.
Druid can use staff for all specs so the OP idea works for them, Paladin would reqire HM/Shield AND a 2H hence the imbalance.
you know what i want to see from the weapons again?
this stat
Armor penetration on some weapons.
and some special combat effects. or some special buffs on them.
for example.
there is a Dagger that with each hits burns 2 % of targets mana.
or there is an arrow that bypass targets armor.
or there is a shield that have 25% chance to do a counter attack on melle or casters damage income.
But, as it is now, Paladin needs three sets of weapons for his three roles when a monk only needs two. one for dps and tank and one for heal, so the imbalance is allready there.
borrowed powers in legion were really good.
but no/
my point is that if someone wants to create bunch of items,. it should give him more options.
or if someone is playing a class that is bad in designs and talents and have nothing strong against the other classes then he should be able to fill that gap with special items.
Yeah, this. My pala, who I prefer holy has a int main weapon. If Im playing prot I need a strength one and if Im ret I need a 2 handed one. Why cant the one handed weapons have both strength and int like armour? The 2 handed one is fine being different.
ye my thoughts exactly, i started playing my monk as MW this season and crafted int staff but i kinda wanna tank/dps instead now and now i will be forever behind.
not the end of the world ofc and its obviously my own “fault” but i fail to see how it would hurt the game if my suggestion got into the game.
