There is like no reason other than technical (failure) to not want to support these guys’ request here. I’ve been leveling on Nek’Rosh on our selffound guild the last weeks and enjoyed the community here. I also leveled alliance and horde on Stitches and enjoyed the community there!
But since the classic fresh announcement it feels awfully quiet on both realms; so in order to keep both alive I’d strongly advice to merge the servers. If this is not done it will likely result into problems for horde players on both realms, and perhaps even for alliance players too.
Don’t take away ‘their game’ by letting these servers thin out too much. Give these people their merge! Go blizz! You can do it!
(I’m guilty for leaving them alone, though. I’m going to play fresh with some old 2019 buddies, but that doesn’t mean the people who prefer to stay should get in trouble. Go merge!!)

Would be a good idea.
Especially since the new HC server will have changes like dual spec and instant account mail to alts.
I’d expect people to keep that as their main realm even after the progression is done due and initial hype is gone, due to those changes.
So a merge of the current two HC realm would work well.
Would help balanced factions on each realm also (Nek’rosh Ally and Stitches Horde would greatly benefit).

I understand the point, in wanting to merge the servers so you can keep your communities.
But I gotta admit a lot of guys are very naive if you believe that Nek’rosh and Stiches are gonna continue being viable with the new fresh HC server.
Sure the raiders will stay on those servers, but that’s like 500 people at max spread across servers and alliance/horde (Probably not even that many)
What will happen is that “most” guilds will transfer to the new fresh HC server and everyone who dies will instead make a new char on the new server, because thats where the majority of people are gonna be.
Fresh servers means new hype, so a lot of people will be coming back to try HC again and they wont go on Stiches or Nek’rosh.
Im sorry for being a naysayer but thats just the most likely outcome.

i agree let them come to us on stitches we got a healthy population (for now) and with this fresh coming
it would only be logical to merge us
dont let us be forgotten alot of people have invested alot on these servers.
people have built communitys on thes servers
let us merge!

In light of the upcoming fresh servers launch, merge is probably the only solution that will let people raid on Nek’rosh and Stitches in the long run.

Hey mate!
I get your point and I agree people might do that. But, when we think more about it, many of us are attached to our characters and our server communities - at least that’s a fact for Nek’Rosh on Horde side. I own two big guilds of 2000 people and we decided to stick for the vast majority of us together, here on Nek’Rosh, for this exact reason.
I think we have something fresh servers don’t have: yes, many people will try out the fresh servers just like every launch time, but… for how long will it last? Streamers bring the hype and usually, when they stop streaming HC content, their fans follow and usually the ones who stick, at least from what I saw, are the long time hardcore players.
Also! I saw that the new servers will be phased. I saw a lot of people being unhappy about it: this reminded me that on our current hardcore servers, we don’t have phases, and this is an attracting point at least for raiders and those who plan to stay in the long run!

Agree, the old realms need love. Since they anounciament the fresh. More people kill their character. The viable solution is merge. I want continued play with my warriors.

But only on Stitches- I have seen almost none of this in Nek’Rosh, the raiding and dinging 60 cotinues. Business as usual.
The two HC realms are quite different in feel and playstyle, so that I do not look warmly on a merge with Stitches, and fervently hope it won’t be nerccesary. And if, then merge Stitches with Nek’Rosh, so that they come to us - preferably one layer at a time.

Yes, keep Nek’Rosh, and let the people from Stitches have FCT to it.
Btw, why are so few of those asking for a merge on their HC characters?
