Weekend Idea: Forum.io 📘

Or it can be a permanent idea for the forums itself.

A way to somehow see how:

  • Your trust levels can be ***tracked***(fixed it)
  • See how many flags you have on whatever alts.
  • Blizz approved emotes.
  • etc

We know they have some plans(yes i’m optimistic) for ACC bound forum actions.

Thoughts?

And yeah yeah i get it “fix the game first and not the forums bla bla bla
”

I don’t understand, what’s there to manage?
Either you have it or you were busy for a week and it’s gone again :frowning:

We really do need a sort of forum .io.

Tired of scrub posters ruining my threads.

well, it would be nice to have a way to track, what is missing

for example if you want to know how many posts you have to read to get it
currently there is no way to know
if you already did read some forum posts chances are those are too old
it would be really nice to have a way to know (I have read 19.999 posts within the last 100 days so only 1 post missing
)

And yeah i sorta meant that xD

I personally would like to see such requirements removed, I thought I was a Blizzard customer, not a performing seal who gets a fish after jumping through several hoops

When you pay your subscription and play the game (having a character that is) you gain the ability to post here, therefore you already are a trusted customer.

With this system posters are encouraged to post and spend more time on the forums.

A question, how can you manage something you get passively?

I am not quite sure i understand what you want. Do you want system where you can easily track your own trust level and things associated with it (sort of “how far i am reaching this point?”) or do you want tool that shows it on other posters?

Oh
you meant being able to track your Trust level in a easier and transparent way?
If so, I think it’d be a delightful idea.

Any idea how Blizzard could design this system?
Adding something to your profile or creating a Website were posters are able to see their progress?
How could ‘Forums IO’ work?
How could you track your progress or you ‘score’?
How Blizzard could calculate a poster score?

It would be simple enough for the forum to add a ‘in the last 100 days’ counter to our profiles where we can see the lifetime count of posts and likes, it isn’t blizzard though it’s discourse who they bought the software from.

I thought so. I agree it should be simple and straightforward.

Maybe adding a personal tab where posters could see their progress.

I would like to see it removed too, but if they don’t remove these requirements, then at least let us track our progress

off topic: Gz on TL3 !
