Weekly Bonus Event: World Quests

Get out your best map and plan your route across every part of the Broken Isles ??? , as this is a great time to immerse yourself in World Quests.

THIS WEEK

All week, open your map (default hotkey-“m”) and then select any of the five main Broken Isles zones, Broken Shore, or Argus regions to consider the World Quests available to you. Hover your mouse over a World Quest on the map to see what tasks are needed complete it, the rewards you’ll receive, and the time remaining that the quest is available to you.

Look for the following all week long:

  • Archmage Timear near Violet Hold in Dalaran has a quest for you. You can also start the quest from within the Adventure Guide (Shift-“J”).
    • Quest requirement: Complete 20 World Quests
      *** Reward: 5,000 Order Resources*** ???
  • Passive buff: +50% to Reputation gains from World Quests

If you’ve been looking to impress some emissaries, this is the week to do it!

EVERY WEEK

The Bonus Events system consists of a rotating schedule of different activities, currently scheduled to run each week beginning on Tuesdays. Each Bonus Event grants a passive bonus to a particular game activity and offers a once-per-event quest with a noteworthy reward for accomplishing a related goal. The in-game calendar can serve as your one-stop reference for the event schedule. The Adventure Guide also offers a direct link to active Bonus Events, allowing you to easily accept any associated quests.

Just tipo, it’s 20 WQ in Zandalar or kul’tiras

EDIT : or maybe both to help you farm legion allied races. All i know is that it’s working in BFA content, dunno about the legion one but it would make sense

The reward for the weekly 20 WQs should rather be a cache with, say 1,5k of each rep? The resources seem abit underwhelming.

If I’m not mistaken, the buff also carries over to Broken Isles, where WQ-rep was already doubled (from 75 to 150 pr non-elite WQ). This makes this week also a bit easier to farm for those pesky paragon chest mounts.

(PS: Prince Farondis, that ungrateful bastard, can burn in fel fire! Both him AND his hippogryph!!)

You most definitely can since Legion has a lot of 150/250 rep rewards, i’d say BFA reputations too can reach exalted, or you could use it for alt to hit revered if u wanted the rank 3 recipes faction’s sell.

Bfa I’m exalted on all factions with 3 chars, with 4 more getting there, no hurry at all. But yeah, BfA takes quite a bit more effort.

Legion I skipped. So I’m behind even now. Though finally within punching range of exalted for a few factions

Seems a bit OP, and missions are the main way to farm Champion of Azeroth rep (500 to 850 rep per CoA mission at 200%) for next to no effort.

Better missions would be nice but War ressources are already quite useful imho.

Sure. I didn’t think of missions.
I just know that I have about 50k resources I have absolutely no use for.

I feel that rep-tokens could be more helpful. In Legion, Kirin Tor had an emissary in their rotation where you could select a token of your choice, so I don’t really see the harm in a 1 - 1,5k token for all reps once pr event. (as long as they’re only usable on the char you do the weekly on).
The WQ event is once pr… 5 weeks? or more?

Just an opinion of course.

Would be a great idea tbh. There may be an issue if your token is often available as you could gather all the tokens on a single caracter for the paragon box. But if it’s only about the event it’s alright

Missions were a steady money maker for me in BFA tbh. 10k rep = ~4000 gold so every 250 rep is worth 100 gold, and i have the follower equipement for Ore and herbs. It’s slow but i already paid back the equipement so it’s free real estate now (i wouldn’t recommand trying follower equipement now tho, as prices may tank in 8.2 and they may not drop the new herb & Ore)

The quest chain past the emerald nightmare quest reward a lot of rep, at least more than 10k. Don’t do it like i did and leave the raid quest for later and farm WQ until exalted u_U
