Can you generate your rewards for the new week and then accumulate new progress towards the next one before picking an item?
I.e. can you coordinate the gear slots? Because if not, then the whole RNG gambling would be even more frustrating because e.g. if you got two gear slots to upgrade and pick one from the weekly reward and then do a raid and an item for the same drops, you’d wish you had picked the other from the rewards.
Do you have to clear the system by withdrawing the generated reward before it recognized new progress?
Yeah you can. You can go open the vault and look what’s inside, and then spend the week doing dungeons/raids/PvP and make your choice at a later time. Many people actually do this during progression raiding when they’re re-clearing a raid exactly for that reason. Clear the raid and check if the piece they want drops that night and if it does, pick something else instead. This has no impact on the next week’s vault.
In fact if you don’t open the vault at all, the next week’s vault will just end up queued after the previous one so when you go open the vault and choose your reward, you can open the vault again right after.
