Weird bug with Resample Sharpness(?)

Greetings!
i’ve made this tweet: https: //x .com/ ZayonTB/status/1978469682723332591
(cant post direct links…)
and @blizzardCS sent me there, so please, watch the videos/tweet

basically, its like if the game/system disable Resample Sharpness whenever i press movement key or tab in/out the game or even change system volume trough keyboard keys

recording the game with Windows game bar DO NOT show the problem, super weird!

already tried disabling addons, doing a scan repair, reinstalling clean graphics driver, resetting in game graphics settings… the visual bug get more evident the harder the sharpness is set (0), but its still there even with sharpness at 2

super weird bug, super annoyng ç_ç

ready to post whatever info you need to try fix it, thanks in advance

Sounds like your display is the problem if it does not show up in a video recording.
What display do you have?
If it’s old or very cheap it is very likely to smear.

It’s your monitor. Look in the OSD for things like ‘fast response’, ‘overdrive’, ‘dynamic contrast’. Turn em off/low.

YOU ARE THE MAN!

i was going random removing display settings, the first on the list was adaptive-sync, which totally removed any visual problem i had!

weird, used this monitor for the past 3-5 years… idk

thanks, thanks, thanks!

Adaptive sync is basically freesync / g-sync in your display controls.
It should not cause smearing, something seems off.
What is your refreshrate set at in windows and what Hz does your monitor run at?
What’s your GPU?
Adaptive-sync is a very important feature that should always be used on modern displays.
It makes your display automatically adjust it’s refreshrate to your FPS, so you never get tearing and always have a smooth picture.

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core (3.59 GHz)
RTX 3060 TI
16GB ram

144Hz both on display and on windows

display is LG ultragear (2560x1080)

after disbling the g-sync i’m not noticing any type of problem at all!

I’ve got 2 LG Ultragear here.

Check what Game Mode is selected, i am using “Gamer 1”.

Check under Game Adjust that Response Time is set to “fast”.

Under Picture Adjust make sure DFC is OFF.

Turn adaptive-sync back on.

Make sure you have G-Sync enabled in your Nvidia Panel.

PS: it’s also better to disable all the Gamebar stuff, you can record much better with Nvidia Shadowplay.

disabled all Game’s bar things, checked again your suggested settings…
the ONLY thing that fixes the glitch is turning off g-sync

as long as i’m not having other problems, ima stick to this

Sounds to me your display is defective though, do you still have warranty?

Does this happen with older drivers too? Or in other games?
