Weird motion blur with new monitor

Hello friends!

So a few days ago I got a new monitor with 144hz refresh rate. It was a huge upgrade from the terrible monitor I had before which was a tv from 2004. Before I got the new monitor everything in wow was smooth, but now as I’m using my new one, there seems to be some weird motion blur that’s absolutely destroying my eyes.

Whenever I stand still, there’s no problem at all. But as soon as I move, every corner stutters and I can barely look at my character without feeling like my head will explode. When I move the camera around slightly when I’m standing still, the corners of everything are kind of delayed. There’s like a shadow stuttering behind as the pixels move, if that makes sense. It’s very visible around text such as NPC names, as I can see the pixels stretch behind when I move. My fps remain the same as before.

I’ve been trying to change every setting on my monitor, I’ve tried to turn v-sync and anti-aliasing on and off several times ingame and I’ve tried to look around for solutions online but I’m not a very tech person so I haven’t been able to figure out what the problem is. I only have this in world of warcraft so I figured I’d turn to the forums for some help.

Thanks in advance! Any tip is welcome!

Does it do it on any other games?
