Hi, I have this weird screen tearing occurring in both classic and retail wow. I don’t know what to call this issue but it is essentially just a bunch of lines and shapes showing up randomly and disappearing quickly as if they are flickering. I went through the video settings trying to see what may be causing it but no luck. I tried attaching screenshots but the forum doesn’t allow links.

A lot of different factors can cause the issue you are facing, so for now I would suggest that you initially perform the following steps:
- Toggle V-Sync in the in-game settings
- if you have a Nvidia card you can also set the Nvidia settings from Adaptive to Fast which may help with this issue
- Put the FPS limit in the settings to be the same as the monitor’s refresh rate
Should the tear screening still occur after those steps, please reply back to this post with your system files posted via Pastebin so we can further investigate what may be causing you that problem.

Thanks for the new updated system files, I would advise that you try now the following steps:
- Check for Overlays and disable them
- Disable or temporarily uninstall Razer Synapse and TeamViewer 11
- check if the game behaves better if the background programs are entirely off by following this guide
