Me too. I hope they will extend the Welcome Back weekend. I am returning player, and I need more time to preview the changes before I decide to renew the subscription. So far I don’t like the idea of paid character transfers and server based population fragmentation. I was hoping that this old-fashioned technology is long gone, and they introduced something like the mega server from Guild Wars 2. Being separated from your friends by a character transfer paywall is a big drawback for me.

Same I was playing with my rogue and the server restarted now I can’t continue

Same, downloaded the whole game as been thinking about it after really not enjoying BFA. Really disappointed, had a few hours to kill to make up my mind on shadowlands.

Same here, characters above lvl.20 are inactive after server reset at 3a.m.
P.S.: Nice welcome back Bilzzard, If I was a new player I would for sure buy the game after this amazing experience!

Thank you actiblizz for hyping up this. Free weekend is soon becoming free day of game time. Maybe we will have 1 hour of free game time in 2 years for next expansion when you failed SL?
Or maybe we dont have to relive this again since u are focusing on making cellphones for the asian market instead of developing the best MMORPG (Old school blizzard not this moneygrabbing Company)? #yourblizzardisnotourblizzardactiblizz

Hello, so I’m wondering if this is right and how the welcome weekend should be. I was previously logged in game for about an hour after seeing the post https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/news/23558958/join-the-welcome-back-weekend-november-5-9
I logged in fine and everything was good, but then the servers restarted, I then tried to login again, and I was met with my characters being flagged as “Inactive” and being unable to login with this message “You must have an active subscription to play characters above level 20. Would you like to reactivate now and continue where you left off?”.
I’m now unable to log either character due to this, but it was fine before?

It seems everyone is having this issue, for sure someone made a mistake when they were reseting the servers. It kinda pisses me off tbh.
