Almost as if watching Casaters zap off against each other isnât interesting to watch 
ye, the true pinnacle of gameplay is watching Grug n Bungo go 1-1-2-1-1-2-1-1-2 intill someone dies.
Lets not pretend âcompetitive wow arenaâ ever had any viewers. The only impressive thing about AMC is how the commentators somehow manage to sound enthusiastic and excited while commenting. Half the viewers of AMC are likely blizzard employees who only watch it because they are allowed to watch it at work instead of releasing content.

WoW has never pulled an audience no matter what for the simple fact that its crap to watch and the skillceiling is too low. Put an AMC player on a C tier spec against a rival S+ spec and the rival player is going to win a majority of the time. Why would anyone watch something they can do themselves? the small details that makes those players so superior to regular players is simply not interesting compared to seeing real outplays in a game such as league of legends n other PvP oriented games.
AMC viewership is lower simply because there are less players playing. That has nothing to do with a meta even, DF just dident bring in enough players to begin with because the trailer dident generate any hype and SL left a terrible taste in alot of peoples mouths to the point where it´ll take a long time for blizzard to rebuild the playerbase, assuming they can at all.
At lower rating melees currently outperform casters aswell and even at high rating the only outliner caster spec currently that is overperforming is boomkin. In the start of season 2 it was definately a caster meta but we´ve moved away from that with the nerfs to a ton of caster specs. Destro lock for example has winrate like DK´s and is terrible, affliction has not been viable a single patch since DF all together, firemage is kinda obnoxious but quite teamcomp reliant. Demo i still find annoying but demo primarly performs well into other casters while it tends to get tunneled by melees.
Outside of boomkin which caster is it you think is overperforming so hard? We´ve already seen considerably more melees performing well. Rets are sleeper op for example n only kept in check by casters. Once precog gets gutted on reset i suspect rets will begin to take over. Arms has overperformed since season started n remains at the top in terms of statistical performance and representation.
Are you basing your meta around the leaderboards without taking any consideration for specs that has already been gutted?

Demo banged melees. Literally fed on them like a snack. Sub Rogues were considered one of the very few melee that were strong enough to compete if the player was skilled ,but get countered by Demo lock sooo??
Spriest, Ele (when played well), canât comment on Demo as havenât played too much since their nerfs. Mage doesnât do too well in RSS and thatâs the bracket iâve played most of DF so itâs a weird one. Great Frost mages are irritating though I wouldnât say theyâre over performing really

You find âmelee metaâ more interesting to watch because you play melee, i do too. Although i get the impression based on all your other posts that you´re not interested in it at all but rather use it as an excuse as to why you´re struggling in arena, using pro play as a reference point for balancing issues.
You genuinely believe melees are struggling in shuffle when every single statistics speaks against it. We can also see by playrate that there are still more melees than casters so outside of top ranked leaderboards, what do you base your radical opinions on? it cant be personal experience either since 1800 is heavily melee focused still n has been ever since the start.
In the last 74 hours there were 27418 DH´s and 9809 demo locks, 19955 boomkins, 12218 ele shamans. Spriest is the most played caster at 26629 in the last 74 hours. For reference there were 37850 ret paladins, 30135 arms warriors 21839 fury warriors. We can also see winrates on each individual spec n even seperate it into ratings. So i ask again, where do you get your ideas from?

one of the main reason it has never worked on viewers, is because it is just not relatable, not many play pvp, even less enjoy arena

The game should never try to be balanced around 1v1. Literally means you need to prune alot of spells/skills from the game.
why, in 3s you have 3 times more spells interactions and it âworksâ how come 1v1 would be any harder
Because you either need to give everyone the ability to break divine shield from rets or remove it entirely.
You either need to give everyone selfheal one way or another or remove it completely.
There are specs that just have way more in terms of 1v1 compared to rest, if you want to balance things out between them you either need to prune or add even more to the ones that lack it.
Numbers will not fix 1v1 balancing part.
