Well i got banned

So i told about a site where people get their hacks from and i got banned. I wasn’t promoting it but mods thought i made a bad call. Hacking is a huge problem in competitive pvp and it need to be addressed. As for the players, if you encounter hacking in the game. Report your findings into hacks@blizzard.com .

And @Kaivax, players didn’t just become better in one expansion, they started to cheat to meet their goals. It’s an undeniable fact and i hope that in the next expansion you will make actions to prevent all of this to happen.

Also i want to add this line here about TOS of the game You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating . Any activity clearly means anything that gives you a head of advantage over any other player.

Thinking the same. I send a report and named a site myself and nothing happened. Not to me, nor to the site (sadly).

I encourage this behaviour, fight fire with fire. Let’s get these bot numbers up to 90% of the playerbase by spreading the word. Once the game is only being played by machines and almost no real humans are left, maybe then they will finally take action and ban them.

Sadly that’s how they addressed it, it went against TOS as i informed on my past post about it.

So you were sharing a site where hacks/bots are distributed and got banned? You set yourself up to get picked up by automated ban systems.

they do, bro. they break bots and scripts all the time. it takes time, though. they literally just fixed a macro script that people were abusing like 3 weeks ago. bots are more complex and take more time to break. some times legal teams need to get involved. botting is an arms race where the bots are always one step ahead.

also, the game used to look like this:

used to be the case 75%+ of every battleground and most low rated arenas were just nothing but bots. now bots are mostly herb/mining bots, with the occasional 2.2k+ mmr ele bot. not worth free hongkonging-ing yourself over.

How long is your ban?

Lol i mean lol lol wtf

This is like saying “kids, drugs are bad, don’t buy drugs from …” and then you give the address of the dealer :joy:

Dude :joy: hahaha

It kinda is, and it shows not to be meaningful for the players.

Fck around and find out.

sucks that u got banned bro.

i try to see the bright things on this whole hack thing, as much scummy it is, and how bad it is, and how much cheaters are one of the most ridiculus things ever, specially in a game thats based on skill (yes ive said it, deal with it)

The community kinda had it coming for a while, and if its gonna somehow destory the “importance” of having achivements to play, then thats still a win … don’t get me wrong, all cheaters should be banned…

but i think this is one of the few times where 2 wrong feels like a right lol.

I think that the only solution is for Blizzard to sue the guy like they did with Honor Buddy one. Otherwise what is the point of playing the game.
