I really like DH.

i don’t care about Nerf complaint or other ppl Hate, i didn’t play it in BFA and my 2 cents are worth half a penny.

BUT

Venge spec is definitely worth playing and super fun!
Damage,mobility, fel devastion, is all cool stuff,try it, you won`t regret.

Havoc is still great in solo(WQ - Torghast) and Aoe M+, no question asked. And i dont know guys if you have seen the Maw where we gonna spend LOTS of time in it, but having Glide and fel rush is gonna be worth 999999 combustion in that desolate piece of boring content without the mount, mark my words on this.

PVP: no matter the hate and rage from community for some niece mechanics in bfa, truth is DH was NOT top performer in BFA, more likely mid high tier, and my guess is that will be on same spot if not higher due to mortal strike. But yeah, we have to see the scaling, at the moment all looks mindless burst, so lets put a question mark on it atm.

Covenant? 3 over 4 are “viable” more or less based on your content focus, i personally love night fea, even thou venthyr could be overall better. Trust me some classes have 1 half decent covenant only.

Legendary: i found them little bit underwhelming, i just probably suggest Collective Anguish for havoc and for veng as well, im having a full dps build and feels gooood.

I probably either main or main alt a DH, i suggest you to think it with an open minded approach, SL is coming.

I am currently torn between Affliction lock and Havoc DH. I had my main alt as Havoc during BFA and from what i can see the same playstyle is still available with some bits being toned down (Blade dance dodge etc) but still seems like it will be close to what we have?

It’s basically the same, we have new talents (like the copy of Fury of Illidari on 20s cd which is cool).

The dodge nerfs on BD and DS are annoying but it seems more because of PvP /cry. Which is a mode I don’t play anymore, plenty of better options atm.

So yea overall it’s not too bad, plus the conduits and covenants are giving some flavor too.

Warlock is great but if you like mobility, jumping and finding new ways to get across somewhere, go DH.

The dodge nerfs were also due to largely being able to ignore certain mechanics in dungeons and raids.

True but at least you had to time it right, unlike a simple bubble, Cloak of Shadows/Evasion which, granted are longer cds, but last much longer.

that I am afraid of if I remember correctly in legion lord Illidan was left off to rot in that ship and I’m starting to think that the blizz dev team doing the same thing for dh class in the next expansion

DH on beta feels good, definitely not left to rot.

Yes yes that is another way to say the black is white the class is good but only if you choose x legendary or conduit then will be complete.
The lack of synergy and depth autside of borrowed power in this class will make it for yet another expansion just an alt for most of the people.
