alas, have to get there in 45 seconds and that’s if you’re not dead and… player ghouls just keep going anyways. Reinfection is quick, not enough time to even type up a post to someone in between being cured and another attack.
I agree that PVP should always be opt-in. A bit of PVP is not always a bad thing when players are behaving themselves, during the Legion invasions (I was stuck on a PVP server) I had to choose my approach to the site, scout out the area for enemies and occasionally jump in to help with pushing back against a Horde/Alliance attack. It was actually kinda fun.
What wasn’t fun was the day a raid group decided to camp the Tanaris site for the full length of the invasion, griefing people who were levelling alts and generally being unpleasant. They actively avoided engaging with the competing raid group just so they could swoop in and one-shot every lowbie who showed up/ressed
These are not people looking for PVP (I left my alt and joined with my main to try and help), but sad excuses that get their jollies by making others not enjoy themselves. If they didn’t exist then I doubt this would be a problem and more people would participate in these kind of events

The fact that you think it’s okay to make people unable to do what they usually do in this game, daily, for a week is why people will never sympathize with PvPers and why I think griefers and events like this should be completely banned from this game.
IMO, they should remove arena and BGs and be done with it. Warmode too, no PvP flagging or duels. All done. Move to a real PvP game, kiddos.
Would remove a lot of toxicity from this game which is sorely needed.

A feat of strength and the recoloured armour sets, broom and pet that we’ve had access to for the last week. There is nothing else that I am aware of.

You mean ERP’ing? Just say it. The only completely textbased RP is ERP.
Its NOT PvP… its an EVENT where you get attacked by monsters… in a game about monsters that attack you.
Its much cheaper for them to remove YOU.
In case you hadn’t noticed… ALL the toxicity is coming from the ERP addicts.

Your talking about an in game event thats only on for a short while, only impacts the cities and doesnt really impact you in anyway other then having to res now and then, to compare that to any form of real life situation is just showing how warped your sense of perspective is…please unplug for a while, you need it it appears same as we need a fun event
