Wep swap in arena "cannot do that right now"

why recently i have been getting this message on my war causing me to lose games ebcause i cannot shield wall…

maybe it has to do with being disarmed, and then as the macro wants equip both at once it fails?

I’m guessing there can be three reasons:

  1. You have a heroic strike or cleave queued. When you have these abilities on queue, you cannot swap weapons. To avoid this, add a /stopcasting to macros that involve a weapon swap such as shield wall, block or reflect.
  2. Your stance swap is on CD, maybe you recently changed into berserker stance to intercept. You gotta wait for the stance swap CD to be over so you can go over to dstance and wall.
  3. You got disarmed with a two-hander. If you get disarmed while you have your 2H weapon on, you can’t put your shield+1H back on until you get your weapon back.
