I play brewmaster at low level (currently +10 key, targeting +12) and also guardian druid. When playind druid, I feel very well protected with iron fur and all the CD. But it is a whole different story with the brewmaster.
Here some suggestion feeling I would share with the community/dev to improve the monk tank. I love the identity of the class so I know the tuning could be quite complicated and it could be easy to fall in some cumbersome ideas.
-celestial brew : flat absorb but keep charges as a “skill bonus”. You manage to get full bonus? you get a reward +5%-10%-15% mastery for 10s. Not noticed in low key, would be quite appreciated in higher key
-Zen Meditation is under-used imo. Bring back the BFA effect (you could absorb physical damage and move). It is a 5 min cooldown, it should not be a game breaker.
-Mist and Windwalker have their celestial almost baselined. For the class identity, I would crave to have my Ox back. Baseline, the Ox will improve the monk stagger, and talented, applies groupwide absorb shield based on tank max life. Very similar to the heroic talent the tank does not have acces so I reckon possible to integrate this effect without to much issue.
-I would like to have more reward to clic on black out kick on CD than only not dying. Something like put the bok 2 charges and as long as we are below 2 charges, we get celestial brew out of GCD or something like % damage reduction.
-Transcendence: not enough played as a tank. It could be node with spirit’essence. When you use it, instead off the snare effect, you become less sensible to physical/magical damage up to 6s, depending on how many mobs affected.
thank you for your opinion.
