Now that we have a support class, I think it would be legitimate to think not about evokers but something more humble and simple: the bard.
From old April’s fool joke, to fully functional and easygoing class, available for every race just like warriors. In this way, we would have a massive increase in support roles without the need to add a lot of new specs (bard would be fine even just by having 2 specs like DH, or even just one, who cares).
What do you think?
I’ve never liked the idea of a bard class in WoW. To me it just doesn’t fit.
I’d rather see tinker class with a support spec included.

I would love something similar to what FF14 has, where the buffs you give are pretty minor but tied into your rotation. Just a chill happy go round dps support. Honestly I don’t think you’d even need a new class, in dnd bards usually share quite a lot of abilities with thief so they could easily be a new spec for rogues.

Augumentation evoker has proven that WoW is not ready for a support class. So no.
Stop making new classes, and try to balance the ones you have.

I think bard should be 4th hunter spec. Focus is a great resource for bards to play melodies with a harp or something. The musical instrument would work like outlaw pistol shot, you whip it out every now and then, instants or channels. Main weapon would still be bow, cbow or a gun. It should play without a pet though.
Mechagnome/Goblin limited class, based on engineering.
I’d take that in a heartbeat.
And give it 3 specs, a tank that uses customizable gnome/goblin mechs to tank, a healer that uses bots and robots to heal and support their allies and a dps that uses rifles, gadgets and turrets to dps.
