What activities in WoW do you actually enjoy?

Let's say Blizzard removed rewards from every single activity in WoW, which activities would you choose to do? Would you do world quests if there was no reward to it? Would you do Island Expeditions or random heroics or LFR? Would you do M+ or raids if there was no reward attached to it?

For me personally, the only activity I would do in WoW would be raids, and the occasional low M+ for variety. Every other activity holds absolutely no interest to me at all and the only reason why I do them is for the rewards.

This, in my opinion, is one of the biggest problems with WoW right now. Too many of the activities are boring or tedious, and the only reason we do them is for the reward attached to them. THIS SHOULDN'T BE THE CASE!

I know this would never happen but I'd love to see Blizzard remove all in-game rewards for a week and see exactly what activities players would choose to do. Which activities do you actually enjoy doing?

EDIT: I'm genuinely curious to see people's answers to this so I've created a strawpoll for it:

M+, raids, occasional questing, random bgs.

Pretty much what I'm doing now too, tbh.
Im catching up on engineering right now, getting all the mounts, all the toys, and all the awesome QoL gadgets.
Questing, collecting stuff, pet dungeons, battlegrounds,
I enjoyed casual bg pvp when casters werent free kills for melee

I enjoyed when raids actually gave upgrades and loot consistently.

I enjoyed mythic dungeons when they were something you do once weekly for a chance of good loot during the first weeks that is also hard, not this stupid m+ spam

I can now enjoy wow story on youtube.
EDIT:sorry I missed OP intentions.

Leveling ALTs, currently I am trying to get my Alliance warrior to 120 and do some warfronts.

If I had more time, example: 6 hours per day, I would unlock every Allied races.

With no rewards system: I would probably spend time in Bg's.

Cheers.
I used to enjoy mount collecting, a little bit of leveling on the side, challenge mode and raiding, but the interest has sort of slowly dwindled away for me with the changes to the game in the last two expansions.

So now I'm trying to get into RP instead.

Then we'd simply be doing tasks for no reason other than to waste to time. Even when we engage in something considered a waste of time irl but it's just for fun, there is usually some benefit to us in some minor way which you may not even realise.

Spoiler: People usually don't do things for absolutely no reason (unless they have issues).

Questing and things like that may only be engaging enough without rewards if you take the time to engage in the actual story and become engrossed. Currently people even complain about having to do a dungeon that takes more than 5 minutes, so forget that one.

Also some things said in this thread really wouldn't be viable without rewards so you couldn't really partake in them. IE collecting stuff, there would be no "stuff" to collect because the reward for doing such "stuff" wouldn't be there. If you are farming, which is collecting stuff, then the sole reward on offer is the items collected.

You'd farm for nothing.

Pointless thread.

EDIT: I get the OP's intention and purpose of the thread sure, but it's really vain
- Questing (likes to read some of the stories attached to it)
- Levelling up proffessions
- Pet battles
- Pvp (BG, world pvp) (I have finally come to a place/lvl where it is fun)
- Farm for outfits
- Roleplay/ingame parties
- I really really like to fish.
- Chat with random people/guildchat
- Events

Really what I do know, exept I wouldn'y go achivement hunting as it is a reward.

Correct you are, that's why I wasn't so sad when I wrote mine... If my "rewards" from my farming, creating things were taken away, I wouldn't enjoy much in game, because they brake some of the boredom sometimes.
nothing anymore :(..

things i used to enjoy ..

leveling alts ...
dungeons before raiderio..
farming transmogs for gold ..

all of them i just do not enjoy anymore..

the last one i cant even explain why but i think its just because i'm so disappointed with everything else its hard to enjoy it.
Achievement + wardrobe completion... and after that, just PvP.
I enjoy this game every single day and have been playing for ten years. I gave up on traditional levelling years ago and worked out ways to level by other means. And so my efforts on numerous characters always takes a different journey. My enjoyment therefore is the journey and I have always loved it. And will continue to do so.

By the way I see so many players burning themselves out chasing the eternal upgrades to get better gear. I see them rushing around every single day. Rush rush rush.. all the time. I just am bewildered in a game that has such a rich depth why players have to rush like mad to get to a point where they are just doing daily stuff at end game they then find boring.

So stop a while. Take off the looms. And instead of going right, go left. Go deeper into the forest. Nose around. Learn more about where you are and the characters that literally fill this game. You seriously would find the journey a lot more rewarding. Otherwise I will see you in the field. I'll be the one with the silver tabby just waiting for you to finish killing your six that you rushed in to take down, so I can be getting on with other things. It really is so funny, its worth the sub to just watch players frantically rushing every day.

Oh.. and I only aim to do one level a day. Maybe two tops. I don't ask for anymore cus I hate getting to level cap. I dread it, cus I have to start over again with a new character.
Arena. But without rewards, they really would need to revert the game to a more fun state, like MoP.

100% Agree, mop pvp was fun.ohh.. good ald memories.
Kinda a moot question really...I mean is there any such thing as a game that doesnt give you some sort of reward for completing activities?? Thats just how games are played!

Personally I dont have a problem as I quite like dipping my toe into everything! If I get bored doing one thing I'll just move onto something for a few weeks. :)
Well, a lot of people play bgs as low lvl twinks without any rewards.

Back in the day a lot of twinks enjoyed one shotting people with ambush at low level bgs, talk about engaging and skillful gameplay ;^)

I'm not here to judge people for their source of enjoyment, just curious to know what people enjoy doing.

It's curious how so far nobody has mentioned world quests or island expeditions as enjoyable content.
Group stuff - No reward needed but then it can be gotten with many games. Can default to dating, just bring your dice :)

Dress up - no new skirt is no fun. I'd not play if I were to be a potato. And the bloody change with gnome faces does relate to this.

Exploration - I like quests over achievements. The story's reward on its own.
